I think sometimes Prutts or others have to go at certain times, and I do recall (not sure if it still is) that it gets broadcast on some radio station, but in general agree with you.

It's tigers talk by the hull and back lads that's broadcast on Humber wave, not 1904 club.

You can't really be critical though or pass on information you've become privy to because of your position. Which is what he's basically saying.

I couldn't go on social media criticising my employer without consequences. Even though it might be accurate.

Baz doesn't pass on plenty, you can contribute while keeping confidences.

Depends how you criticise and what role you hold. As I said, managers regularly say "that was a terrible performance" "we need to be better at x y z" etc.

But freedom to criticise the chairman, the clubs transfer business, poor treatment of fans, the managers team selection and tactics?

I take it these are the sort of things Burns is talking about when he says he would now be compromised. If you can't do that when it's warranted then you've no business contributing to an independent podcast.

To his credit, he's recognised he can't now give it his best and stepped back.

As I said, it's fine if Burnsy thinks he would be compromised, I'm just surprised as Fletch was quite critical for instance of Rosenior's sacking while he was still employed by the club, and I would hope any football club with a media department would be willing - to a point - to accept criticism from media personnel in the media. As I said, if Burnsy said Acun was a "Silly ****" on a podcast that's very different to "I think that's a shocking decision" for instance.

Anyway it's done, we'll see if he does make any appearances.

Apparently he will in the live events and as a guest.

Interesting that we want another centre-half. There’s a few in League One who are having really good seasons. Joe Low at Wycombe, Tyler Bindon at Reading, Sean Roughan at Lincoln etc.

Feels like it's somewhat as depth with Hughes out injured but maybe one for the future too.

I dismissed the Tyler Bindon thing a few weeks ago because I thought we didn't need a CB. But if we wanted Gibson then Bindon must be a target surely, as an equivalent left sided centre back. And he'll be going on the cheap.

wondered who else has put three past leeds this season. their first match was a 3-3 with portsmouth. later they won 4-3 at swansea. and drew 3-3 with us. those three games account for 9 of the 19 goals they've let in. against clubs currently 12th, 21st, and 22nd. almost like a bit of complacency sneaking in. nobody has scored twice against burnley yet, though seven 0-0 draws already can't be much fun for their fans..
