I was at the Sheff Utd game and on the row just behind the walkway for the exits.
From the 80th minute there was a constant stream of people leaving their seats and walking towards the tunnel to leave the ground. Fair enough, if you're so desperate to leave, just leave ffs. But instead they stop leaving, whenever there's an attack, and block the view of people who'd really like to stay and really like to watch the match!.
When you shout at them, to stop blocking your view, they become aggressive as if you're saying they're paeedophiles.
So here's my solution to separate the genuine committed supporters from those who are desperate to 'beat the traffic' and get home so they can sit having their fiicking Ovaltine. Just as we have a 'family section', let's have a '90 minutes is just too long' area.
Anyone who just has to leave the ground, at 2-1 during a vital game, can go in the *80 Minute section. Those who are in sections, for normal people, aren't permitted to leave until the final whistle ...
... I really can't see why anyone would have a problem with that tbh.
