This is total speculation and more than likely never going to happen but...

With Tiote committing his future to us for the next 6 years and Drogba out of favour and rumours of his exit from Chelsea rife, do you guys think we should make a cheeky bid. We all know he's a massive fan of Tiote and might look forward to a chance to work alongside him. Would you even want Drogba at the club? He's not doing great at Chelsea and are his best days behind him?

are his best days behind him?

I think so and I doubt we'll get him, may fancy a perfect return to France to end his playing days.

When Drogba tore us a new one in Marseilles all those years ago is when we should have tried to sign him.

Too old and too expensive in transfer fees and wages.

Let's find the 'new' Drogba. Tiote must have a few other mates.

I would prefer it if we went for Grevinho

Drogba is a sulk, Before the Champions League game against FC Copenhagen he didn't bother warming up with the rest of the squad (including the other subs) because he was not in the starting line up.

We don't need characters who are going to disrupt the harmony and chemistry of the team

Drogba is yesterday's man but he'd want tommorrow's money.

He's been great for Chelsea and he's still got a good game in him, but how long for?

I think it would be a backward move for us. Sorry.

I may be wrong, but i'm 80% sure we DID try and get him...We'd certainly been linked with him before and during the Uefa Cup, then Chelsea got involved and we were frozen out!

As Stevie says, the 'new Drogba' is Lukaku, but I'm fairly sure Chelski also have their eye on replacing the original Drogba with the new one!

Plus, I heard they had a £20m bid for him turned down in the summer...so that's us out!

I wouldn't say no at a cheap price, but as stated that isn't going to happen. Plus it'd be more fitting for him to go to France, not here. I rate him as a player but his wages will be too high and he can have a bad attitude. Don't want anyone disturbing the positive attitude of the current team now do we!

Yeah he's likely to go to Chelsea, especially given this.

Last I heard Chelsea were also interested in Neymar?
Will most likely end up at Madrid/Milan/Barca/Chelsea I would've thought.
