The I thought Isak was pretty shyte last night. Got his goal (nicely worked) but he was very average the rest of the game.

If Isak stays fit, he's an exceptional striker - the problem is that he could be another Callum Wilson - and misses too many games ... to win trophies you really need to be able to keep the same team or, at the very least, the same spine with your key players ...

I'd agree he was below par. He put in a great through ball that should have been a goal (to Tonali iirc) but he said after the match that following his goal he generally had two players on him and it freed up space for others. You'd take that to be honest.

Slightly embarrassing to see some of the Toon lads ejaculating about a win at Old Trafford against an obviously transitional United tbh ... to put it into perspective, Bournemouth were much better there ... just saying.

They transitioning to a girls team?

Barring the FA Cup final they've been poor for some time, with players who have either gone a bit stale or were purchases in search of a final big pay day ...

Amorim is a talented coach and I expect to see a fire sale next month ... will be interesting to see who he brings in, but I'd expect to see a younger, hungrier dynamic ... one thing for sure, he won't be short of money to spend ...

I feel like your comment comparing to the Bournemouth game is an armchair fan just looking at the scores rather than actually watching the games. "Much better" absolute nonsense.

pretty sure you could watch it on TV

Yes you could - the very definition of an armchair fan <laugh>

Now I'll admit to only having seen highlights of both games (don't have Sky) - but following the BBC commentaries it felt like Bournemouth were always in control... and Evanilson missed a sitter ... last night's gave the impression that United were still in it for longer - now I could be wrong - but that's certainly how it came across.

You were there last night then? ... and at the Bournemouth game? ...
