To me it doesn't take a genius to believe our finances are in **** street. I've read the comments, I admire people wanting to believe everything is in a rosey state of affairs but, it can't be. We have sick notes on ridiculous wages, we have paid ridiculous transfer fees for absolute rubbish and our attendances are starting to drop slightly. 2024 has been a horror show for us a complete horror show and 2023 then 2022 didn't really fair much better.

We could be 1% for all I care, it's make absolutely no difference to our individual accounts. You're a successful business man, you know full well that just because your debt is a small % compared to someone else doesn't mean anything to your business and the state of its finances

If I’d have bought a Championship football club with the intention of getting it into the Premier League, I’d have done so knowing it would cost me millions to get there. Acun’s no different, he’ll have known the figures at clubs in this league and what he was letting himself in for.

Football is unlike any other business, the numbers almost never make sense.

Don't worry, all other clubs in the championship are doing the same so it's ok

You've hit the nail on the head.Some of the wages and transfer fees being banded are simply ludicrous for a Club of our standing.He's dodged the bullet in seasons past by selling off decent assets for good money,he doesn't have that luxury going forward...

Charlie Hughes is onl a 10/15 games of a decent run of doubling our money. The same with Balloumi. Obviously injuriesd are hindering that. Its the Omurs and Siniks of the world that are effecting us.

Acun is cash-poor. The Allams were much wealthier than him and Allam Marine had/has a much higher net worth than Acun Medya.

Acun Medya is borrowing money, which is then being borrowed to the club. Like a landlord who wouldn’t be able to afford the mortgage on a spare home without the tenant’s rent. That’s why he’s impatient to get us promoted quickly. We don’t have any 8-figure assets in players to sell in January or next summer.

His whole strategy has been exceptionally naive and stupid. No attempt to develop a sustainable business model. It’s just ‘spend someone else’s money, hope to get promoted, pay back the loans’. Exactly the same as Mel Morris at Derby.

Charlie Hughes is 12 games into a 4 year contract.From what I've seen so far he's doing his job and looks to have a bit about him in terms of looking after himself on a Football pitch but I also tend to think he's being over-hyped by many and it remains to be seen if he can make the step up.Alfie Jones was outstanding today,best performance I've seen in defence all season,how much will we ask for him?

Belloumi looked classy,there's every chance money will be made on him,it looks a foregone conclusion,we then replace him with who,for how much and on what salary?

Omur,Sinik and dare I say Giles are big earners,we'll save a lot of money by getting rid but we'll take a hit selling them as they haven't lived up to the hype or price tag...Poorly recruited if truth be told.

The club could be run sustainably and even profitably and an owner could still decide to walk away/stop funding, sulking for some reason.

The club could be haemorrhaging money, but an owner could be happy putting the money in to keep it competitive forever.

The money is so stupid, and usually tied in complicated ways to other companies, that it never seems real anyway.

The only way I’d be remotely interested is if it led us to having a points reduction. If that is likely to be the case I’m sure we’ll get some decent warning, and even if we don’t I can’t do anything about it anyway so hey ho.

I’ll stick to shouting support from the stands rather than trying to be an armchair forensic accountant.

If it’s still open on New Year’s Day that’ll do me for now .

£5.7M in match day revenue tells you all you need to know. That’s one of the lowest in the Championship and lower than a handful of League One clubs.

The only way to make this club competitive is to pump money in, either through the owner or through loans. Either way it ends up putting the club in debt.

All owners have their own agenda and reasons for owning. Raking up old crap, but few of our owners would scrap concessions and attempt a name change.
