Not much joy for the horns this weekend but a tense battle is developing at the top of our league on here, with nobody able to make a really clear break at the top. With only 50 points separating the top 4 things can change very quickly with just one good (or bad) week. With the second highest score of 94 Andy has closed on the top 4. Highest of the week was Matej with 104, and brother Seb also did well with 89 - a score shared by Fez.League Table

No Hornets in action this weekend and also no game at Plymouth so our league was reduced to 8 matches. Just to clear up any confusion - any joker placed on the Plymouth game mpved automatically to the next game on the list ie. Portsmouth. The double score ruling on Watford matches is non transferable. Despite this there were some very high scores on here, and some low ones - the deciding factor being that many posters had their jokers on Leeds Utd to win 2-0. Highest score was by Mark with 135, which has opened up quite a gap at the top. Second highest was by Seb (120) and then Yorkie with 113.

After a 2-1 home win for the Hornets you can bet on it being a high scoring round on here, and so it turned out to be. In fact so high scoring that my brain was overworked adding it all up. No less than 7 scores over the hundred mark with the highest being 159 by Chris, followed by my own score of 155 and by theghost with 143. It was all so high that Yorkie managed 134 but actually dropped a place - so hard luck on that one. Once again the leadership changed hands but it's all very close up there as we enter the Christmas period.

No early Christmas present for the Hornets today. A rare win for Hull, and Portsmouth and QPR continue to turn their seasons around. On here it was a round of mixed results. As has become normal the leadership has changed again with Mark moving into top spot with the highest score of the round with 137. Second highest was my own score of 119. Othe hundred plus scores by Frenchie and by Simon (under his Dad's name). In a family revolution Seb has overtaken his Dad to move into the top family spot for Christmas. The next round will be next Sunday as I am skipping over the Boxing Day fixtures - with Christmas preparations in full swing remembering to tip midweek fixtures might be too much for some posters.League Table

I email Mrs Fez with the fixtures on the Sunday or Monday. I usually send her a reminder when I do mine, usually Friday lunchtime at work. I am staggered by how close our scores are, we both are. Hell, I even changed my 2-0 to a 0-0 at the last minute, on the principle that there would be a 0-0 and, history aside, the lack of goals suggested... well, the table doesn't lie and clearly neither of us has a functioning crystal ball! Ho hum!!

A horrible day out for the Horns and, partly as a result, a low days scoring on here. Second highest of the day was by Charlie with 74 moving him up into third. theghost managed one better with 75 moving into sixth. JT Bodbo also topped the 70 mark. My own move to the top was almost exlusively the result of a luckily placed joker. Elsewhere low scoring was the norm this week on a weekend which most Hornets will want to forget.

How depressing - to have a good day when WFC were awful. I'd rathe have a lot of bad days if the converse works !

Once again, despite a better performance, the Horns are short of the mark. Despite this Andy managed to come up with a score of 163 this week, and son Matej came up with the second highest of 125. Scully also topped the hundred mark. Once again the leadership has changed hands with Mark jumping above myself in second (thanks to the Horns not equalizing 
). Yorkie moves back into third and Andy is coming up in a menacing fashion in 6th. Attention now shifts to the FA Cup (still plenty of room for posters in that league).
