A great day on the road for the Hornets. Hard to predict on here becasue there were, in total, only 16 goals going in in our featured matches - well below the average. Despite this there wre some high scores for us - the highest being by theghost who spirited his way to 97 and is moving closer to Andy. Hackney also did well with 96 and Paul got a bit of family help with a score of 95. Once again the leadership has changed hands, I'm sure not for the last time this season.

Another fruitless day for the Horns and a low scoring round on here. Highest of the day was by Scully with 95, followed by Chris with 83 and Frenchie with 72. Elsewhere it was low to middling for most of us which means that the places at the top haven't changed except that Charlie is moving back into contention.

Another disappointing weekend for the Horns. Also some unpredictable results elsewhere led to a difficult round of predicting for many of us. a bit of a wobble at the top of the table with the top 4 losing a bit of ground and Charlie making ground. Highest of the day were Seb and Paul both with 93.

A good weekend for the Hornets when many of us predicted the opposite. However it was a high scoring round as if often the case with not so many goals going in - from 10 fixtures only 2 saw 3 or more goals going in. Highest of the day was 123 by Hackney which is putting real pressure on the top places. Andy did well with 120 but theghost (118) is still creating a cold chill just behind him. Chris also topped the hundred mark

A little bit late in putting this up this week, apologies for that but there is a general election going on here today. Firstly the preliminaries - a great day for the Hornets and some high scores on here. Highest of the day was by Matej with 132, followed by Mrs Fez who overtook Fez with her score of 126. 100 plus scores also for Andy (116) Charlie (113) and for myself (105). Now the main theme on all of our minds. There is nothing that depresses me more than putting zeros on here beside the names of fellow hornets and friends - but what else can I do. If someone simply forgets to post then that is no problem for me in that case - but in other cases it creases me up, because we don't know what that zero really means. In short, if anyone has info as to the health of Frenchie then please, please, please put our minds at rest.

Well, that was helpful. This week I decided to ignore intuition and go for the difference in league places. Result - useless. I might as well become an astrologer. However, I have an eye operation tomorrow - shoudl see things more clearly afterwards - hah ha. I had thought of becoming a referee until the doctors suggested the operation.

All change at the top once again as a result of our reduced round. Unbelievably Mark managed to carve up 136 points from only 8 matches - easily the highest of the round, and enough to move into a 50 point lead at the top. Elsewhere the second highest was by Fez with 90, with a cluster of score in the high 80s. Overall lowish scoring, as is predictable from a reduced nuber of games.

Unfortunately the Horns looked like they are prematurely on their summer holidays today and none of us picked up any points on their game today. Quite a few of us picked up bonus points this week for unique scoreline tips. Highest of the round was by Chris with 98 and theghost alo did well with 79. Mark's lead at he top was cut into a little by myself and by Hackney. Not for the first time Andy is being awakened by rattling chains just behind him.

Another weekend to forget for the Hornets. Despite this a relatively high scoring week on here. Highest of the round was by Hackney with 113, forcing him into second place. Second highest was by Fez, being the only one of us to get the Hornets scoreline correct. Chris also topped the hundred mark with 102. Mark has extended his lead at the top - largely as a result of an injury time penalty at Millwall
