Just watched the Manc derby highlights and noticed Mike Dean said the Hojlund incident wasn't enough for a penalty in 'a game like this'

I didn't realise that the rules were different depending on how big a game is.

Yeah I clocked that too, annoyed me at the time.

Wolves have agreed a deal for Vitor Pereira to be their new boss on an 18 month deal. Compensation about £1m apparently to Saudi club Al-Shabab

Anyone else, pissed off that Everton seem to have after falling in **** for years, looks like they will come out smelling of roses?
They have managed to avoid the drop for years by the skin of their teeth. I was really hoping their time was coming. As you can all tell, I ****ing can't stand them! Lol

Yeah the new owners sound good, and going into the new stadium it’s all looking promising. But you could’ve said the same when Moshiri arrived and started spending £200m a season on players, which they completely spunked up the wall.

I think Potter will go there when they sack Dyche at the end of the season

They don't need to sack him - he'll be out of contract at the end of the season.

Didn't realise that, reminds me very much of the Bruce/Newcastle scenario where he did well with the hand dealt to him. Then the takeover happened, fans all buzzing, new players, new director of football etc and the only thing from the old era was Bruce so he resigned.

Everton going into a new stadium with new owners and a feel good feeling will absolutely not want to do it with Dyche, he isn’t well liked by the fans either despite doing a decent job overall.

Wonder if we could get him in the summer

Why are they walking out after 16 minutes? What exactly did they expect from this game?
Sheff Utd got 91 points last season which will probably be more than we will get, or very similar at worst.

We are looking at our future if we go up

Sheff Utd losing 3-0 to Arsenal last season after 16 mins, ended 5-0 I think. Remarkably similar to us v Spurs

At what point does Pep get the boot if they just continue to be this bad? You'd assume he'd be given the season at least, given who he is and what he's achieved with them, but their form since November has been as bad as ours, and that's pretty impressively bad. City finding out what happens if you let your team and squad stagnate for a few years and add to that, the signings that they have made are not really good enough + a few key injuries. Be interesting to see what happens. Do they go big in January, can they go big in January?

Villa looking a really good side too.

MC have lost it big time. Just shows that type of football only works if you have top grade players in every position & you have a DM who is probably the best. Rodri has been a massive miss for them. Wonder if they are regretting their decision not to take Lavia back at £40m?

I think the way the clause was worded was that it didn’t kick in til 2 years after he left, he left after 1 so it wasn’t active so they couldn’t buy him for £40m.

They could’ve matched Chelsea’s bid though
