I hear that question quite a bit. Short answer is no. I think it may be an old tradition of having to pay a fee if you go through a parish but it’s not something that is ever done now. You do pay a fee if you have the funeral service in the church but not for driving past itLike Snaggey just a curious one. Do you have to pay a fee/gratuity for the amount of churches you pass on your way to the crem?
