Well,
No new manager bounce, he's seen them play two games and a week training and today we get... exactly the same as we've had all season. Hasn't instilled any fight or sense of pride into the players, other than a bit less fannying about at the back much of the same style of play, no major change in players starting, no radical substitutions when things aren't working.

I don’t think it reflects poorly on Sellés. This squad has a mix of players who are nowhere near good enough and/or don’t give a toss, with a handful who are decent Championship players. Walter’s style of play and his man-management had obvious flaws but the issue all season has been the players and the people responsible for recruiting them, rather than who the head coach is.

The burden of who is at fault is Acun > other board members/the ‘brain team’ > the players > the head coach.

Well,
No new manager bounce....
Early days, but what has to change is the almost inbuilt sense of defeatism. Even before we go out we are on the backfoot and the body language is of a set of blokes who are in the gutter. Once we go behind that's it game-over...Both have to change radically in a short period of time, plus cutting out the schoolboy errors and at times the casual approach. All brought on by Walter. Overall, difficult for Selles to change in a couple of weeks, but the salient thing is that the players are no where near good enough for the level they are at. Sorry to say but Selles has been brought in too late.

Coventry City boss Frank Lampard told BBC CWR:

"We created so many chances and it can be soul destroying if you don't take them. It was a case of staying strong - and to keep on doing the right things.

"Our best performance since I came in and there were smiles in the dressing room. They're happy boys. There were things we needed to correct from the West Brom game and the players did it, so I'm really pleased too.

"I was aware of Ephron Mason-Clark's talents coming in. All I've done is give him the oppotunity. The rest is down to him. He has to take all the credit.

"He's been on form since we came in and I'm sure there's plenty more to come. The ball hit him on the face for his goal but it doesn't matter how they go in, it was reward for him getting there."

Hull City boss Ruben 'Succinct' Selles told BBC Radio Humberside:

"We need to be more aggressive. And we need to defend a bit better.

"We were too long in certain moments, which gave them the chance to find some space.

"We are where we are and we need to keep building.

"We need to be more clinical and to play more together."

The other funny one
Walter wanted rid of Tufan
<laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>
Tufan was the player he wanted for his system
He’d be scoring the goals that Simon’s missed

Not listed and jaut had a read through
Can’t remember who it was but a few agreed

gone all Steve Bruce

just **** right off

Our greatest ever manager and ****s are saying that

****ers
I wish to **** we could go all Steve Bruce again...Quality players,Premier League,Wembley.

We're a million miles away from those days...

I think Acun will overspend in January to keep us up.. then it’s a case of balancing the books in the summer again. Maybe not the smartest thing to do but I guess it’s better than going down.

We’ve been told that Acun has been trying to throw money at a decent striker since he bought the club. He hasn’t managed to convince anyone to come so far, so I can’t see this winter being any different considering our league position.

I’ve read nor heard nothing to suggest Walter pushed Tufan out. Didn’t Acun himself say we accepted a bid from Trabzonspor precisely because Tufan wanted the move and Acun’s ‘I will never stand in the way of a player who wants to leave’ policy?

Tufan would’ve been perfect for Walter as one of the number 8s.

We had a decent striker in oscar, but LR didn't want him and we pissed him about, so in the end he wanted out. Yes he wasn't a great all-rounder, but he scored goals..... How much is it going to cost us now to bring in a striker that will score 12+ goals a season
