Did you stay after the whistle? Wondering if Russell came over and what reaction he got. I was gone as soon as whistle went.
I was on the stairs trying to get out, but I saw. It was a pretty regular reaction, tbh. He came over pretty close to the front few rows and clapped for a long time. Wasn't much vitriol from what I saw, apart from a small smattering of Saints fans gesturing at him to get out and **** off.

I'm prepared to bet my right bollock (which is my favourite one in case anyone is interested) That TP isn't injured. A fee has been arranged for TP and promised to Martin for player(s) of his choice in Jan.* That's why SR are holding tight on sacking the bellend. He's without doubt whining his system will work with one or two players more and that us negative fans just can't see the genius of his system, because we keep looking at silly things like goals and points**

*Or one for us plus a loan player for Goztepe
**It ****ing won't.

<laugh> glad it's not just me who has a favourite bollock.

(Also the right fwiw)

Ok, I've been negative enough - two positives and two things I never thought I'd say:

1. Nathan Wood has looked good in both of his PL appearances so far. I've been pleasantly surprised
2. I never, ever thought I would say this, as I didn't want him within a country mile of a Premier League pitch, but Ryan Manning hasn't disgraced himself. In fact, in recent weeks he's been pretty good. He wasn't great today but he looks less of a liability in the PL than he did in the Championship, so far

On one I completely agree. Was nervous about him starting on Wednesday but thought he did well in tough circumstances and was probably was our best player

On two I partially agree and have mentioned a few times recently that he's done pretty well since coming back into the team. Thought he was poor today though and probably his worst performance this season.

Just went to listen to the interview with Blackmore and had to switch off after a minute after these two absolute gems of quotes.

"We get in their final third more than they get in our final third today" <laugh>

"Even the last 15 minutes where we throw caution to the wind" <laugh><laugh>

No we didn’t.

And no we didn’t. We were still fannying around at the back with 15minutes to go.

The A34 was still shut on the way back last night. Made me wonder, how ****ing big was the tree that came down?

FM, we’re a nice bunch aren’t we <doh>

It is shut all weekend so they can stop trees falling onto the road. There was no fallen tree. They obviously didn't want to take any risks after someone was killed in the last storm.

Right that makes more sense then. It was only the very first part of it, presumably that part has a particularly high risk.

For what it’s worth, and in case anyone missed it, RM said that he expects Bednarek to be back for the Spurs and hopes that Ramsdale will be back too.
