dont worry the realization will dawn on "that weirdo!" when the penny drops .. like using unions to cause strife in the NHS he did the same in his first few weeks ... filled the legal system with even more cases and to make sure there was room for them in clink he released a few thousand!!!!!

hopefully you watched the various media outlets building up to his speech
one thing that sticks out is tories gave £1,000,000,000 for this year to cover their costs added 130,000 officers and now labour plans on another £30,000 but no sign of funding for this so forces will have to cut other things to fund them......
right Angela just starting to introduce that fibber of 2 standards . [ watching on catch up been busy ]

Don’t touch the stuff, gave up smoking 20 years ago, and only ever smoked tobacco. As for being brainwashed you’re a fine one, you think everything is hunky dory, you’ve fallen for everything the Torries spout, even Boris <doh> , you’ve even totted up numbers and costs of immigrants since the general election and accuse labour of being at fault for their arrival. Completely forgetting the problem is one created during the previous government tenure, forgetting they’d promised to fix it since 2010. Whilst expecting labour to fix it as soon as they took over. Now that is what I call being brainwashed.

THE ANSWERS HERE WILL WAIT .... as not just as you state , but because "having not really been looking at the root causes" although explained dozens of times and reinforced by umpteen media reports and tv interviews etc.

    for now..............
we have to digest the days speech of .." we intentionally mislead the public with mouth watering intended achievements and hope after 5 years they might say well they did try"

here's one! NOT GOING TO INCREASE THE TAX PEOPLE PAY ......... [ [ dont forget labours deceit and fibs are also very cynical! ]

Well over 40,000,000 now pay tax [ since July 4th 2024 and a lot more will do so until April 2028, a GE, if country not already had one and Labour stuck to one promise!!! Frozen Personal Allowance [ PA] is now on the cards in the next year. this is a very cynical move they will have milked the British tax payer of £bns extra.
Low earners like pensioners etc on basic pension or lower paid didnt pay much if any tax until now ...

cynical move 1 raise income tax revenue by a minimum wage of £12 on a 40 hour week that means a worker will contribute an extra £5.80 pw to income tax or over £300 extra a year.
anyone doing 21 hours will be in the position of paying tax for first time

Allowance for over £50k, if they get now get £50k a year and a 3% pay rise £1500 that 3% rise is just worth £738 .00 thats less than half!

what happened to we will not tax the payslip any more than ...... = a cynical deceit or a lie?

Shooting ones self in the foot..
Starmer should start by blaming himself. Because what's the point of preparing a big set-piece speech when you've got nothing new to say?

Waffling on about "milestones for a mission-led government" only shows that Starmer has nothing meaningful or measurable to say.
But Starmer won't blame himself. The PM exhibits all the self-knowledge of Greg Wallace's Instagram feed.
So he'll continue to shoot himself in the foot every time he opens his mouth. And he won't be the only one.

Misfiring energy secretary Ed Miliband will pepper Labour's credibility as his rushed energy transition threatens blackouts and sends electricity bills through the roof.

Angela Rayner, secretary of state for housing, will blow another hole in business growth with her £5billion employment rights package.

Incredibly, neither is Starmer's biggest liability. That honour belongs to his closest political ally, chancellor Rachel Reeves.
What a disappointment she's been. During the election, we heard a lot about how clever she was, but that was based on an older version of her CV.
There's nothing clever about her stint as chancellor, either politically or economically.

Her first move was to turn millions of pensioners against Labour by axing their Winter Fuel Payment. Labour's own figures show almost 4,000 will die as a result.
Reeves pushed that through despite warnings from Treasury officials, thinking it would show she was willing to make tough decisions.
    That was only the start.
She went on to talk down Britain, panic businesses and consumers with pre-Budget threats, then confirm their worst fears with the biggest peace time tax raid in history.
None of this will reduce the deficit, cut the national debt or get the economy moving again, which is what Labour has pledged to do. Quite the reverse.
While Starmer shot himself in the foot yesterday, he was already hobbled by Reeves.

Today the Confederation for British industry (CBI) warned that Budget tax hikes will hit household incomes.
This will blow a hole in Starmer's newly minted goal of of "raising living standards in every part of the UK".
That's another of his "measurable milestones". One so vague it's impossible to measure in any meaningful way
    .
With allies like Reeves, Starmer doesn't need enemies (although he has plenty of those too).

The NHS in England recently suffered 44 days of disruption when junior doctors carried out a series of strikes.
Last week the BMA voted in favour of balloting Scottish GPs over industrial action over funding cuts, a move which could see work-to-rule such as limiting the number of daily appointments.
This action is for the non "junior" doctors who are now paid a fee much closer to their juniors and want the status quo renewed...... they did say after the award they may have to strike to get what is parity!

note when you add up all the days lost by the different departments striking ... with the support of Labour MP's ... you can understand the reason for such long ques for operations! Now it could become a self inflicted wound ... or another ***t Ive been in hindsight shot myself in the foot again ... no wonder I have so many holes in my new donated freebie shoes!

this is our new .gov sod what the opposition says we will do the opposite..................

Angela Rayner has overturned a decision blocking the construction of a £670m data centre on green belt land, days after Labour vowed to “send a clear message to the Nimbys”.
The Housing Secretary has given the green light to a project in Buckinghamshire, where developers are planning to build a new data centre on land around an 18th century, Grade-II listed farmhouse.
It comes as the Government this week unveiled plans to “unleash the biggest building boom in half a century” by waving through a flurry of major development projects.
On Thursday, Ms Rayner gave Marks & Spencer approval to bulldoze and rebuild its flagship Oxford Street department store.
The decision to wave through the data centre plans in Buckinghamshire follow months of wrangling over the scheme, which is to be built at Court Lane on the green belt. The site is next to the M25.
The scheme was originally blocked by the Conservative-run Buckinghamshire County Council in October 2023, which found the project constituted “inappropriate development in the green belt”.

bang goes listed buildings green belts and a concern for anything fragile, the public are nimby's as dictators we dont give a monkeys t***

is this the start of limiting democracy .....

    .........
Housing Secretary Angela Rayner has said overhauling planning rules to bypass local authorities will remove "chaos and subjectiveness" from the system.
The planned changes will give local authority planning officers the power to rubberstamp development proposals without permission from council committees, as long as they comply with locally agreed plans and national regulations on standards.

interviewed ............ She pushed back on the suggestion the government is riding roughshod over councils, saying the changes were necessary to bring about what would be the biggest increase in house building since the 1950s.

Tory shadow Treasury minister Richard Fuller said the government's building target is "reasonable", but added: "If you want to achieve that, you've got to bring the people with you, and, unfortunately, Labour seem to be saying that Angela [Rayner] is best and local people can be ignored."

Exposed: Rachel Reeves and Sadiq Khan endorsed Just Stop Oil activist's climate report

RACHEL Reeves and Sadiq Khan have been accused of backing an eco zealot plotting the demise of the British economy.

Shadow Energy Secretary Claire Coutinho blasted the Chancellor and Mayor of London for previously endorsing a report co-authored by Julia Steinberger from Just Stop Oil sister group Renovate Switzerland.
Steinberger contributed to the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, which both Ms Reeves and Mr Khan shared online with praise.
The report called on Governments to prioritise "equity, social justice, climate justice, rights-based approaches, and inclusivity" when tackling climate change.

Ms Coutinho told Daily Express: "It doesn't come as a surprise that Rachel Reeves and Sadiq Khan backed Steinberger's report, as one of Labour's largest donors used to fund Just Stop Oil and is now a prominent campaigner against new nuclear."

On December 5 Steinberger addressed more than 260 Just Stop Oil activists during an online meeting, infiltrated by the Daily Express.
During her speech, the eco-warrior advocated for replacing Britain's "predatory" economic system with a "de-growth and post-growth" model.
'De-growth' and 'post-growth' are theories put forward by radical left-wing economists, arguing that countries should be reducing consumption and growth to save the planet.

Responding to Steinberger's comments, Ms Countinho added: "Anti-growth policies are not the way to solve climate change. We are only 1% of global emissions - we will play our part but living standards in Britain must come first."
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage added: "These people want to reverse human progress. They ought to go to China to protest instead."
Daily Express approached Ms Reeves and Mr Khan for comment. ..... but they wouldnt!

Send Reeves and Khan to China
Both of them, along with the rest of this government, hate the UK.

Now Syria has fallen to an Islamic rebel group
Another country in the Middle East like Jordan, Afghanistan and Lebanon that will become a radical anti west state

what hope the farmers assistant pm at now ..............

Newts should not be more protected than people who need homes, Angela Rayner has said ahead of an overhaul of national planning guidelines.
The housing secretary suggested previous governments had got the balance wrong between building more houses and protecting local wildlife.Speaking on Trevor Phillips on Sunday on Sky News, Rayner said: “We can’t have a situation where a newt is more protected than people who desperately need housing.
“What we need is a process which says protect the nature and wildlife but not at the expense of us building the houses we need. We can do both,” she said. “I believe we can offset, look after them, but at the same time not stop building.”
Asked about developments being blocked because of their impact on wildlife such as the black-legged kittiwake, Rayner said: “Environmental factors will be taken into account, but we can’t have a situation where we have a desperate housing crisis and we can’t resolve things like nutrient neutrality, which we believe we can.

protected newts ... they will have to change the law! as it is a criminal offence to actually touch a great crested newt that has a very limited of sites around the UK. You have to be licenced
YOU CANNOT ALSO interfere with Bats ..
it is a 6 months? time period for Newts, areas around ponds for certain month's have to be fenced off with special collection stations around the perimeters. They are gathered up and transferred to a safe place ............

SHE thinks it is a simple task ...
“What we need is a process which says protect the nature and wildlife but not at the expense of us building the houses we need. We can do both,” she said. “I believe we can offset, look after them, but at the same time not stop building.”

ANOTHER MASSIVE CAR CRASH .............. THEY SAY IF YOU TELL LIES you have to remember what you said, if you dont they just worse and ,ore farcical .... WELL AR you are ,are than farcical .............

The senior Labour figure first highlighted a housing crisis before claiming "there is plenty of housing already, but there's not enough for the people that desperately need it," Sky News reports.
This apparent contradiction prompted immediate pushback from presenter Sir Trevor Phillips, who pointed out the inconsistency in her statements.

'There is plenty of housing!' Angela Rayner flounders as deputy PM fails to explain how Labour will house 2.5m migrants expected to arrive in Britain© GB News
In the contentious exchange, Phillips challenged Rayner on Labour's plan to build 1.5 million new homes while projecting 2.5 million immigrants.

"You start the interview by telling me that there is a housing crisis and when I remind you that you have said as a Government that we are going to have 2.5 million migrants, suddenly there is a lot of housing," Phillips said. "Where are these people going to go?"...................
    Rayner
appeared to sidestep the question, instead emphasising her pledge to build homes because "far too many people are waiting on council housing lists."
She insisted the homes under Labour's affordable homes programme would be "for people who desperately need them, local people."
The interview sparked immediate backlash on social media, with users criticising Rayner's performance.
One X user branded her comments as "innumerate, incompetent, inept" and described the interview as a "car crash."

and a comment from another carcrash interveiw she got caught out ...5 out of 7 homes will be for immigrants.

WE ARE TRULY DOOMED... WELL our children will be

not to be outdone with bad news............. RATTLESNAKE GETS HER OAR IN!

Lest we forget, that four-year spell [ THAT IS PART OF THE LATTER PART 14 YEARS, they keep harping on about ] covers the pandemic, energy shock, cost-of-living crisis, Liz Truss meltdown and Rishi Sunak no-show. BUT...................

Companies kept employing staff throughout - only to give up after just one Labour Budget.
Reeves can't pin this on the Tories. It's all down to her decision to hike national employers' national insurance (NI) contributions on October 30.
That will add £25billion to wage bills, while her decision to hike the minimum wage by an inflation-busting 6.7% will add £billions more.

Angela Rayner's employment rights bill, designed to curry favour with the unions, will add another £5billion.
No wonder businesses have stopped taking on new staff. It's too expensive. And if they're not up to the job, Rayner's bill will make it even harder to get rid of them.
All of this could have been predicted by anyone with a GCSE in economics. ..... Let alone a CV IN BOE economics!
