Shaun Murphy on the BBC: 'Now, it's completely within the rules. But at what stage do we question whether the amount of time Mark Allen is taking over simple decisions is a tactic to annoy his opponent? I can't see any reason other than that for why he's taking so long.'

I reckon it's more likely he's just grinding it out and trying to be super careful for whatever reason, but yeah less of a Pistol and more Musket Mark Allen these days.

Possible it's gamesmanship, but it would be odd psychologically for a player who's played rapid snooker his whole career so far to start playing intentionally slowly to wind his opponent up.
