Flat, slow and predictable. West Brom were embarrassing, should be putting them under more pressure than that

Massively but I also think people judge it on him being our boy wonder (who has been class this season)

I love rigg, I've said several times he's the best youngster I've ever seen at the club but he's off it at the minute. I don't mind him starting games but there's got to be times when he is brought off when he's not on it

He's only 17 so he will have plenty of poor games, so nothing wrong with the odd rest

I thought second half Rigg was our best player and the only one likely to make something happen. But as you say people see things differently.

Pat Roberts.
Ah sorry. I was following on from the bit about wanting Rigg off for Connolly. I thought Roberts was just about okay. Very unlucky with the chance I thought. I wouldn’t have complained if he’d been brought off, but I wasn’t too frustrated that he stayed on. Think we probably missed a trick by putting Mayenda wide left though. He did okay but it just unbalanced us. Would have preferred either Rusyn or AA to have come on for Watson, to leave space for Alese. Still I think tonight was less of a ‘missed opportunity due to lack of subs’ than previous ones. We missed chances and didn’t capitalise on opportunities right to the end. It wasn’t like we were going backwards as in previous weeks. The momentum was virtually one way all second half.

back to where we were in May rubbish football and league one standard at corners pathetic, 36,000 tonight says something and i will watch the Stoke game on the telly now they are pissing another season away lazy gets. Dodds must be back
Here he is, he’s like the child catcher when there’s the opportunity to spread a bit of negativity.

Agree mate. My patience with Roberts has ran out now

Same here mate, I like the guy, rate his ability and would love him to start matching his talent with appropriate end product but how long do we wait? He's had virtually unlimited opportunities and hasn't broken through.

Judging from tonight we'd probably have scored more if we'd played O'Nien on the right wing instead and he's a centre back.

If we win that game 1 nil it would be a dominant performance against one of the fancied teams in the division.

Hard to do anything when the opposition sit 11 behind the ball from the first whistle. Especially when they are a decent/ organised team to start with.

I can’t say for sure as I’m sure it looked a lot more clear on TV but was O’Nien surprised when his number went up to go off? Seemed that way from my seat.

Yeah he definitely was surprised from where I was sitting, although I called it when I saw who the subs were. He was having decent game on the right too.

thought we bossed it, had good chances and didn't put them away.

proper nullified them and snuffed them out, they couldnt get out therir own third due to our press and organisation whislt we were able to work it forward with minimal passes.

have to give credit to the control and defensive solidarity we had whilst finding a balance and being critical about the lack of cutting edge.

people raving about there gaffer but they had possession for possessions shake and across the 90s didnt have an answer to beat our press or defensive shape, whereas RLBs lads, you could visibily see the shape, organisation and ability to penetrate

Yeah he was, don't think it was long ago he'd put that ball in that Isidor was offside from and he must have thought he was playing well. I'd agree with him. I suppose it was about balance but it didn't achieve anything and other players, Rigg and Roberts specifically, should have been pulled instead.

Agree about Roberts, thought he was really poor. Rigg tired but I still thought he was tidy enough. Draw felt inevitable.

Our biggest problem is we don’t mix it up enough. We want to play our little triangles and when it doesn’t work we just keep doing it anyway

a lot of safe possession, needs some balls to have some adventure and try the killer pass

Aye Rigg was alright, decent game and one of our few goal threats. Just thought he was a candidate for substitution to give us another attacking option as he got tired.

Said to my wife shortly after half time that it had 0-0 written all over it, that's what they came for, we're on an average run of form and even the best teams are often stymied by teams parking the bus if they do it well.
