Promotion is everything. We've shown this year that finishing second doesn't affect the following season.
Would love to win, but what do you think Cortese would take? I'm sure he would love the opportunity to wean himself off valium and start planning in January for the push for Europe and world domination.

You may think that but currently just under half of the people who have voted have gone for 1st place!
This pole, sort of shows your character. Those that want to be the best will select the second option, never settle for second best.
It's being pragmatic. If Saints manage to get to the Premier League for next season, and then estbalish themselves, ask the very same question. I'd go for the Yes option every time, in that case. And after all, you can't do well in the Premier League if you're stuck in the Championship.

I was assuming that to take 2nd place meant you were guaranteed not to get 1st place. I definitely think we should get 1st place. I'm with Joey B on this. Nothing ventured, nothing gained ,
