Trumps a protectionist and america first always. The rest of the world will be a calmer place if he gets in because he doesn’t get involved as much as Obama and Biden have and Harris will.

Putting tariffs on imports doesn't bring prices down , not sure why anybody would think that

 

I genuinely haven’t seen any evidence that he’d be good for growth
Growth has been fairly stable since Obama around 2.3% through Obama, Trump & Biden (even ignoring Covid) and Biden recovery post Covid was the best in G7
Last time in he caused more unemployment whereas Biden, with Harris as VP have created lots of jobs.
He did cause huge corporate profits of course, but I don’t see that as a good thing
He massively increased the US trade deficit (which he pledged to reduce) and borrowing
I don’t know about his record on gas prices tbf
Immigrant number rose hugely last time he was in. He just used it as a political tool but fixed nothing.
There might be something in the Middle East issue but he is more likely to simply cut Ukraine off to sort that, as he tried before.

I do struggle to cut policy from person but I see no evidence that he has good policy anyway.

Jesus wept. Have you seen his economic policy? Massive import tariffs on everything. Pretty much every sane American economist thinks Trump will tank the US economy.

The current fuel prices are about 2 cents off being the lowest for many many years. 'Gas' prices have been falling over there just like they have over here.

Anyway, Trump could still win, but my prediction for anyone who's interested (no hands go up) is that Harris will win with something to spare, maybe even by a large margin. Two reasons, 1) I think the polls have been wrong by using samples based on the last election rather than the likely changes in the electorate this time round (mostly more women and young people voting) and 2) the abortion issue plus Trump's general awfulness are bringing women voters out in large numbers, and they are voting for Harris in the same proportions as men are voting for Trump, but if more women vote in total then Harris has the edge.

trump said abortions should be available for victims of rape, incest, and where the mother's life is in danger, even in states which decide on a general ban. i've seen a video of him saying it.

 

there's a ton of evidence but none of it was allowed to be presented in court. anyway, the military will be monitoring the election.
