To be honest Pardew has to be the only contender for manager of the season so far. Given the problems at Newcastle over the couple of years (And the boards insistence to still give it a good go and screw it up) and the way he's got your team organised with a couple of creative players he's done one hell of a job, always thought he was a good manager and thought he'd keep you comfortably in mid-table without the threat of relegation but so far he's way over exceeding my expectations for Newcastle.
Here's to hoping if it happens O'Neill can just get us comfortable in mid-table, that's my aim for the next 18 months. Oh and to get some wins at home, get a bit of hope back in the fans. I for one am fed up of home games now.
