This was the time to back him in the same way we did with Gerrard, he deserved to use the CL money he had earned and buy his own players but instead we went the opposite way and started the cycle of sacking managers that we now find ourselves in, we backed Beale with Gio’s CL money and he signed Dessers, Lammers and Cifuentes, the rest is history.

Its actually laughable that when we do inevitably sack Clement in the next few weeks that none of our last 3 managers will have had a full season as manager, all came in half way through a season and will be sacked half way through a season.

Clement isn’t the issue though, the issue was 2 years ago and sacking Gio instead of backing him.

The board are the issue.

They listen to the spastics on social media and act upon the populism therein.

Gio was the universally agreed appointment, despite what Feyenoord fans were saying about his lack of a plan B and "keep the zero" and horseshoe philosophy.

Gio should've been properly backed after Seville and was rewarded with the semi-permanently injured carthorse, Tom Lawrence and the 4ft always injured Ridvan then got sacked.

The board were then left with Beale vs Ferioli and plumbed for the snake Beale. Ferioli is now manager of Ajax.

Then we had the choice of TBBB or Muscat. Muscat playing a style akin to The Gravy Guzzlers side and we went for TBBB because he won titles in Belgium, despite his record in Monaco being a bit dodgy.

The board have been ****e since SDM got legless and sold the holding company to googly eyes for a nickel

Gio would still be here and on course for 3 in a row if he was backed in the same way Beale was, instead its 3 managers sacked by halloween in a row
 
Just watching a rerun of the Sunday spectacular and the Killie goal comes from a throw-in incorrectly awarded to them instead of Sevco Sparrows.

Gerrard was getting results and performances against Celtic, thats why he got time, thats why Gio and now Clement wont get it

Gerrard started his 3rd season as manager without having won a trophy in 6 attempts, none of our next 3 managers have even completed a full season nevermind got to a 3rd season, and 2 of them won a trophy. Gerrard definitely had some extra goodwill with the fans just because of who he is but a lot of fans still wanted him out after his 2nd season.

The last time Rangers started and finished a season with the same manager they won the league, thats a ridiculous stat.

The Gerrard thing was we could see progression, a style of play and it eventually paid off.

Gio was harshly treated and deserved more, Beale should’ve been brutally raped as soon as Dessers put a Rangers strip on but PC is a dud manager. Needs time to find a way of beating Killie who hadn’t won at Rugger park since April?

Even Martindale is on Open Goal saying it was harder to defend versus St J than Rangers.
