Aberdeen had never sacked a manager until Alex Smith in 1992. Since then we've done nothing but sack managers! It's a recipe for disaster to continually sack managers. I'm hoping we will give the eloquent and extremely handsome Jimmy Thelin plenty of time. He was a great success in Sweden.

He will be FC Sevco Athletic Town's next manager, no way would an Aberdeen manager knockback the chance to manage us

In the last 10 years the only manager that got time and a chance to turn things around was Gerrard, and he ended up delivering. We are now on course to sack a 3rd manager in a row after exactly 1 year and every time a new guy comes in we say the same things, “lets back him” “lets get behind him” “lets give him time to do things his way” but as soon as the honeymoon period is over fans turn on him.

Gio got us to a European final, won the Scottish Cup for first time since 2009, got us in the group stages of the CL for the first time since 2010 and was sacked 5-6 months later. There was bad points with Gio as well but of all the recent managers he deserved the time to turn things around. This was the time to back him in the same way we did with Gerrard, he deserved to use the CL money he had earned and buy his own players but instead we went the opposite way and started the cycle of sacking managers that we now find ourselves in, we backed Beale with Gio’s CL money and he signed Dessers, Lammers and Cifuentes, the rest is history.
