Pandurs a young keeper

Maybe he benifitted from settling in and making his debut in non pressure meaningless friendlies instead of starting mid season and potentially making a mistake and losing his confidence
Maybe, or maybe he's 'just' a very good young goalkeeper who is markedly better than our keeper last season but just didn't happen to be Rosenior's pal.
Anyway, back to enthralling stories of "i once had a drink too many of ...."

There's always been something strange about that deal. From shortly after it was done when Acun said all he'd had to do to get it over the line was agree to make it permanent rather than a loan, which apparently no one else wanted to do. That never really made much sense and I suspect there had to be more to it really, perhaps more specific terms we agreed to. Then there was the weird situation with the release clause which only kicked in upon promotion (again, strange), and then when asked about it Tan talked about the club's relationship with other clubs and hinted that they could make it work using those links (strange again, almost sounded like he was saying we were up to something funny). Then when it came to selling him, there seemed something strange about Villa coming in at the last minute when Ipswich were seemingly about to sign him, and if I recall correctly there were a few tweets at the time from non-City fans (can't remember whether it was Turks or Villa types) saying that that would happen. In hindsight it looks like it was only ever really a loan deal in practice, but maybe we agreed some shenanigans with Villa to make it work better for us, them or both by structuring it technically as a permanent deal. I don't see any reason currently to believe there was anything unscrupulous about it, but I do think it's always looked strange and wouldn't be terribly surprised if more came out about it in time.

I remember suggesting tan was talking nonsense about that deal and being told I had no idea what I was talking about on here..

How do you manage to make so many things about yourself? Do you always have to be right or say I told you say? Strange bloke.

Because I remember criticising Tan at the time and everyone said I was wrong to do so and it's now being suggested that he was sacked as a result of that situation. I can't help if I'm occasionally right about things.

I still have such a hard time with how he dealt with that Q&A where he laughed condescendingly at people who suggested he was effectively on loan from Villa and that they would be buying him back in the Summer. "Believe me, Jaden is our player". We didn't believe you then Tan and it didn't turn out that way either.

Why you have an opinion when you look at a situation and you hold that opinion
I see no problem with that

Syd seems to have a problem with anyone looking at a situation and having a different opinion on it to him. He goes backwards and forwards in countless posts about it.

This isn’t based on anything I’ve read or heard, but maybe Kesler has made some dodgy decisions that could land the club in hot water with FFP and Acun is only finding out about it now. Stuff like agent fees and structuring of certain deals that Acun wasn’t heavily involved with and delegated to Kesler.

Wouldn't shock me.
