Which ironically adds substance to Acun being pissed that LR wouldn't play Pandur. Maybe Acun knows what he's doing after all.

Acun in that instance is both right and wrong. Who’s to say that based on what we saw earlier in preseason of Ivor that he didn’t replicate that in a crucial game during the run in?

I’d still take the trust of the coaches who see the players every day as opposed to the owner who doesn’t.

Yet Baz made out it isn’t a big deal and nothing to worry about

*not that I’m saying Baz is right or wrong, just that he never suggested it was messy*

It may well not be and hopefully it isnt, what I've heard may be wrong. As I've always said, I can only go on what I hear/am told. TWT!

Reading through eleven pages of whatever it is this thread is purporting to discuss, am I correct in saying:
Tan has stepped down.
Basis unknown.

No. He left by mutual consent. Which doesn’t mean there is anything more sinister than if he had stepped down.

Because I remember criticising Tan at the time and everyone said I was wrong to do so and it's now being suggested that he was sacked as a result of that situation. I can't help if I'm occasionally right about things.

I still have such a hard time with how he dealt with that Q&A where he laughed condescendingly at people who suggested he was effectively on loan from Villa and that they would be buying him back in the Summer. "Believe me, Jaden is our player". We didn't believe you then Tan and it didn't turn out that way either.

First off, sorry to hear it affected you so badly. I hope you eventually manage to get over it.

Then, ?? What you posted doesn't appear to make sense! Are you saying the club didn't actually sign Philogene after all? That he wasn't actually our player at all? That we didn't buy him for around £5mill and sell him for around £15mill+. And that Villa just for a laugh gave us £10mill or so profit on him?

If not, what exactly are you saying that you were so right about?

I doubt the decision to stick with Allsop had anything to do with the other coaches. I'd be surprised if it wasn't simply that Rosenior himself made the decision to stick with Allsop, simple as.

There used to be an arcade machine in the amusements when I was young called Sidney Knows. Think that would make more sense than our Sydney.

So, you're making assumptions based on zero insight whatsoever. Sounds about right.

A stopped clock is right twice a day...

Your comprehension skills are incredible.

The controller from the cab office says it allegedly involves women and beer.
A toxic mix if not handled with caution.

My guess would be that Kesler was delegated to handle the fine print and details of transfer deals and some of the money, probably through agent fees, has conveniently ended up in his back pocket.

If there was anything dodgy about the Philogene deal, I think that Villa are the ones creating the dodginess, it wasn’t just Philogene they “sold” & bought back, but Cameron Archer too, they then “sold” him again to Southampton.
Didn’t they & Everton both spend money on youth players from each other, just happening to be the same amount?
