It is a concern. He was based here whilst Acun wasn't. Could be quite innocent too and he and his family just fancy a move back to Turkey. Nice fella too, I had a lot of time for him. He will be missed and its big shoes to fill.

Was a very nice guy

Maybe it was his choice

Or maybe behind the scenes he wasnt up to the job

sure we shall find out

Let's see what the club says about it in due course.

I wouldn't bank on that!

Wasn't he meant to become DoF way back? Wonder if that's anything to do with it.

In all seriousness, Tan's "mutual departure" is a definite concern when you consider just how plugged in to the day to day business. Every Q+A session he gets called in to give specifics on projects for which Acun doesn't know the details. Let's hope we get an able replacement, and this doesn't give the more fickle fans more of a reason to start dissenting

I always had the feeling he might get poached by a bigger club, of course we don't know the reason yet, but if he has got a better job somewhere else it would not surprise me.

Seem strange he was with the team in Turkey last week apparently, which indicates something happened quickly.

It definitely gives rise to concerns with the nature of the curt message.
That in itself would seem to suggest there’s more to it and probably wasn’t an amicable decision.
Hopefully, the follow up will give us a bit more detail and we don’t have to wait too long to get it.

Tan always came across very well. But it wasn’t that long ago everyone was complaining about the brain team not working fast enough. The non football side of things is Joe Clutterbrook anyway… Tan spoke a very good game but a lot of short memories

Its easy to fix one issue with a few screws

But vocal needs people to sing
How do you fix that

Not having as many stewards glaring at people and wandering about in front of them. Don’t see stewards at a lot of stadiums as they are sat down out of sight and only stand up when there is a goal.
Last 2 games they finally took the sensible step of allowing City fans in the unused away sections in East Stand. At one time there were 5 stewards in front of the half section with a fence in front of them and a fence down the side. The next section has a fence down the side. And what was there? A row of stewards. Do they think the City fans were going to be climbing over and attacking each other. Then there were more stewards between the next 2 sections. Ludicrous.
