Well, other than Rob & Ryan… I guess Global does ? Incidentally, I’m told that Iron Fist plans to demonstrate his boardroom neutrality that day by having a session on both the home AND the away buffets. As for the actual attendance - Methven will get a one off sugar rush from the You Tuber geeks who buy tickets for non footballing reasons. He will leap on the attendance, & spin it that his strategy is working
As for the increase in coffee and burger sales...................... This 16k probably includes the expected 3000 taffs travelling down.
The 16,000 will include our 8,500 ST holders (15% of whom don’t turn up at most games), and 3,200 allocated to Wrexham. I simply don’t believe that more than 5,000 will part with £30 plus, to watch Eoghan O’Connell and Elliot Lee. It’s Wrexham at the end of the day - near genius PR, but with all the attraction of a blind date with Quasimodo.
They won't. If 4,000 more people do turn up, they will not be Charlton fans. Just sad followers of the celebrity BS that young people are spoon-fed with these days.
It’s been great to have @ElfsborgAddick back in Old Blighty to see his old mates. That only took him half a day in September, and yet he’s still over here On a serious note @ElfsborgAddick , I was just watching a really interesting programme on the Discovery Channel, about a recent epidemic of dog napping in the slum areas of Brazil. I’m sure that was your pooch I saw, being bundled into the back of a van ?
@ElfsborgAddick I have just been reading an interesting statement from the forum site Pro Boards. They have announced that they will be automatically closing sites that “have very little traffic or worthwhile activity”. I understand that one of the first sites due for a cull is Into The Valley, which rarely hits double figures for posts these days ?
We could have a whip-round and pay him to appear, that seems to be the Charlton way now. 30 pieces of silver ought to do it.
