We haven't lost since the opening day defeat to West Brom, which is encouraging, but we need to start turning some draws into wins if this is going to be a stress free season. I think my hope that we'll achieve anything more than mid-table is already beginning to fade for me, so I'll be happy when we start picking up the odd win. As for our hosts, they've won 3 and drawn 3, including a good point away at Burnley. They signed Yuki Ohashi from the Japanese Super League, in July, and he's come in and scored 4 in 5 appearances so far, so certainly one to watch out for. Their manager is former R's caretaker manager, John Eustace, so he'll be a familiar face, although there won't be too many of our players who've been around since 2019. Cifuentes' pre-match thoughts here... https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/2024/september/26/cifuentes-pre-blackburn/ Enjoy (and hats off to you), if you are making the trip, and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!!
Our hardest game so fat I reckon, they are flying. The speed of their attacks has me very worried, we need a serious performance and for 90 plus minutes !
27 poke for this game compared to £38 for both the Sheffield games. £24 next week at Derby. Never really liked going to Blackburn, the atmosphere is ****e and it's always gloomy weather.
Been there a few times and only seen us lose without scoring including my first away game where Shearer dived for a penalty. Not going to this one. I’m confident.
Yet another fecking 12:30 kick off..... feck off sky..... Probably won't be able to see much of it if any with that kick off time, whereas 3pm is ideal to sit down with steely + and a glass of wine.... Won there last season no reason why we can't again.....
Not hopeful for this one, on the plus side should be back in Leeds for 5pm beers and curry with my "Massive " supporting mates, hopefully after they have just lost to Coventry
I've got a party to go to in the evening with my Leeds supporting mates. Be nothing better than a win for us and a loss for them!
This is not appropriate attire for the away end at Ewood Park in Autumn and I expect Bob to remind her of this.
So Liam Morrison out for 'some weeks' after minor knee surgery. Colback also out this week. Fox and Chair back in training, maybe too early to be involved tomorrow.
