Ömür isn't a winger, but where does he fit in? Slater, Palmer and Mehlem are all scoring goals from the midfield position that is Ömür's most natural, while game after game Ömür looks great but ends up achieving nothing. It's becoming hard to see how we use him.
Always good to be in pub watching the game then come on here afterwards
suicide squad first half on here
thought we did some good things but nervous and theshooting was poor
But we came good
Onwards and upwards
We weren't much better before the penalty either. After the penalty we really came to life. We just seemed to ooze wirh belief. Mad what a goal can do.
I absolutely thought we were going to lose. But delighted we wonlol hold your hands up who thought we were gonna lose tonight????? The silence is deafening
Yes I did pick up that sense from reading the flappy stuff on here.We were ****ing crap first half

What I saw from, you know, the actual stadium was that the way TW wants to play is becoming stronger and more defined. We pushed them back for most of the first half, but still conceded horror chances on the break (think we just need to get used to that). And we failed to defend a corner (don’t want to get used to that, something to work on).
At half time I reckoned the playing style is really starting to flow through the squad, but I wasn’t certain it was a style that could win games.
Then in the second half we went more aggressive in attack, benefited from Millar’s directness, used Belloumi a bit more and got the rewards against a pretty average side with some decent threats in their midfield. And proved the style can win games.
But yeah, sack the manager in the dressing room.

Morning - great waking up after a city win isnt it?
But you have to be in the right place to create those opportunities. Last night they created more, were tougher to play against and wanted it more. A little positivity would not go amiss! Why should we have to get used to conceding horror chances?
The style? We scored off a pen and an own goal, with slaters goal the only well worked one of the three.

No, I feel dreadful and fear I may have a disease
No need for any debate, no-one was offside when the cross came in.
Not sure about his eyebrows though. Looks like he moonlights as a drag queen.Class act their head coach, no excuses, got a lot of time for him. Makes a welcome change not to hear the oppo manager moaning about everything but the pies. Even said yes was definitely a pen…
Not like you to overreact. Aged well though!
