I think Elliott's been great and this just backs it up. He's certainly not top level yet, he's got room for improvement, but he's most certainly on his way.
He’s def added something when come off the bench and think he’s been unlucky not to start more often over last few months based on the form of szobo who was probably his direct competition. Hopefully he can flourish. Proper lfc fan and has such high potential

I'm not suggesting this is implemented (in fact I wouldn't want this to happen), but hypothetically, if we wanted to bring back the long-distance shot, they could always grant an extra "quarter-goal" for shots outside the box, so they count as 1 and a quarter goals instead of one. (this would have the benefit of having fewer draws too). Imagine being 1-0 down with 2 mins left and you score a goal from outside of the box to win it 1-1.25, imagine the fans reaction. Meh, as I said though, don't want them messing with the rules, but if they wanted to bring back the long distance shots "to make it more exciting" that's how you could do it.
I found it interesting that more passing and higher passing accuracy was also found Less end to end football. More passing amd trying to score from closer

Yeah I hear that a lot. With slot we won't. We will pass it until someone comes out of position. If a side is happy sit 11 back then we have to do something different. So far Ipswich want to play on counter and got caught with men behind the line which was high. Brentford didn't really make it hard for us as their front men were absolutely no danger to our cbs generally and once we got the first off a break away from their corner it was simplicity itself Utd were just schooled with casemiro being beasted. If a side comes to park the bus it'll be interesting to see hownits broken down. I do think sides miss a trick in not firing a few shots off from outside the box as it at least forces a defender to come out of the line to block and when thry do then a gap opens for a pass.
Goal of the Month usually has mostly long-range shots. Although they're impressive, I'm more appreciative of a well-worked team goal.
Definitely - one too many passes is frustrating. I'm thinking more of quick incisive passing involving three or more players. I love those fast breakaway goals we've scored over the past few years.
Think the 2nd England goal is a nice example. Some passing around and then pass back by the winger and a run off the ball, first time pass through the lines to run onto and then one touch pass/cross/pull back and first time finish. 3 touches and cut through a team from the halfway line despite them having all men behind the ball.
What goal so far of the 7 scored has not been some form of break away or win of the ball high up Yes but unless thry made the first passes and pulled the gap to pass through it wouldn't happen. They might be behind the ball but they've shifted to open space for the pass. What you say is then correct. It's patience's with a purpose to create thst gap or overload and then you have to go go go with one touch to finish Any touch there and the space closes probably.
Just that we have not actually broken anyone down yet like this. Ipswich did a good job for a long while against us. We cracked them.but also the first goal is a break. Same for brentford. Against utd they all ran up the park and we were in by default by winning it. I'd like to see a slot goal against a massed defense.
Maybe not. I'd have to think about them all to say and thinking is hard. I was just saying that I like those breathtaking breakaway goals that involve 3 or 4 incisive passes a bit more than a solo long-range effort. The latter are great, but football is a team game and seeing people work together well is more satisfying.
