Gonna have to split Penzance in half though and share it with the Muslims

Or they could all just convert to Kernowism and come and worship the rocks and moss with me.

BWood would probably give them the St Michael's causeway at high tide.

It was and is absolutely a European problem. Hitler had his 'solution' to the problem. Zionism was an alternative solution. It's a crying shame that we needed Hitler's solution to be carried out before Zionism was given a proper shot.

It's also a shame that so many Europeans are completely blind to the fact that their ancestors' actions gave birth to political Zionism as an alternative solution in the first place.

Europe created and then enshrined a movement that was politically and ideologically unmanageable, and then unleashed it on an indigenous population who had little to nothing to do with creating the problem in the first place.

Maybe we should just give Cornwall to the Jews and be done with it.

Tottenham not enough, they have to have Cornwall too?

I get that, but if you’re born in Europe to genetic European parents and grandparents, then you are European. Notwithstanding the issues that you’ve outlined for Jews in Europe. I see that that as a European problem, which we still face with various ethnic groups being singled out for prejudice

Is it still the case that Jews are treated as second class citizens in Europe ? I would argue that it’s not, and that there is in fact more awareness at tackling anti semitism than is afforded to Islamophobia or prejudice against other ethnicities.

So it comes down to cultural identity. And again, I understand the premise of Jews wanting a ‘homeland’ although personally I think mixing religion and geopolitics is a bad idea.

I guess it’s the execution of that desire, which has been seen as a God given right and imo a misguided instruction as ‘God’s chosen people’ that has seen Israel stepping way beyond its ‘entitlements’ and not only persecuting the native population, but stealing land, resources and turning places like Gaza into an open prison and now a killing field.

As I’ve mentioned, I think religion and politics do not make good bedfellows, but when this persecution and destruction is carried out in the name of Israel’s God given right to do so, then you can understand why Jews as a collective bare the brunt of Israel’s actions. When in fact it comes down to the warped vision of men like Netanyahu and on the other side people like Hamas who both want to wipe each other out.

Unless I'm misreading it that last paragraph seems to justify anti-Semitism on the basis of the state of Israel's actions?

Not justifying it, just outlining some of the reasons why Jews (wrongly) bare the brunt of Israel's actions. As mentioned, it's down to the actions of people like Netanhayu, not the jewish population.

Dunno, "You can understand why Jews as a collective bare the brunt of Israel's actions" seems pretty close to justifying it to me, even if not intentionally.

You need to read the whole sentence in context.

...then you can understand why Jews as a collective bare the brunt of Israel’s actions, when in fact it comes down to the warped vision of men like Netanyahu and on the other side people like Hamas who both want to wipe each other out.

It's not justifying it, it's outlining why anti-semitism occurs.

One day the sun will become a red giant and likely consume Earth, it won't matter what your borders were or what religion you chose, it will engulf us all as one to a state as if we never existed, that pale blue dot will disappear forever. All your thoughts, all your hate, all your prejudices, all your bias, all your selfishness, those lines in the sand will no longer matter not one jot..."is no more", "has ceased to be", "bereft of life, it rests in peace", and "is an ex-parrot"

Tell this to Greta, she may then stop worrying the world about global warming.

She pops up on the BBC news web pages occasionally but usually for being arrested <laugh>

I think most people have realised that the climate changes all the time and we can do **** all to change that, chill out and enjoy life.

Do you realise that before industrialisation and carbon burning England was covered in ice (the ice age), over time (without the carbon production) things slowly warmed up to a point whereby in the middle ages parts of England became warm enough to grow vinyards.
Sadly even though industrialisation started relatively soon after that England cooled off so much that the vinyards died out.

The Earths Climate does what the Earths ckimate has always done and always will, CHANGE

Trouble is mate, humans tend to talk in decades and centuries and ocassionally when referring to history we may talk in thousands, that's like us existing for a few seconds compared to Univere billions of years. It don't mean we shouldn't look after our planet though, although it always makes me smile when people say stuff like it's the hottest it's been in a hundred years lol. I can remember the severe flooding in Germany, an area I had visited, I found the same area had been flooded exactly the same during WW2 (through a quick bit of research), so much so it hindered the allies. You could see a lot of it looked freshly built to keep the Rhine at bay where it flows into the Danube, but you could also see new structures, and I always think you will keep building near these water ways, areas that have history of being flooded, we do the same in the UK. See even here I'm only chatting the last 80 years. Also when you protect land from water, you likely just shift the problem to somewhere else.
