At this level a capable and experienced appointment. If they want someone to steady things and get them organised he’ll do a decent job. Ok, the football when he deservedly went had been poor for a while but before that we had some good times with Bent, Gyan etc.
After time to reflect, dont believe we would just be after a panic buy now, we tried for Simic, presumably for first team at a fee of around 2m.... obviously we didn't get him....fee for Ahmed Abdullahi was mentioned around the 3m mark....we must rate this lad, maybe we looked at him earlier in window & they priced him a lot higher & we thought wasnt offering good value....what im trying to say is Simic created a bit of a frenzy about his potential.... clearly the club, by fee, rate this lad higher.... interesting
Good point, also Gent produce some good players, quite funny that this lad was their Gift Orban replacement and we ended up going after him while being linked to Orban
Samed checks in... https://x.com/SunderlandAFC/status/1831286334507692062?t=bxcw7cqrjqYYOZTUTjaBBg&s=19
https://www.safc.com/news/2024/september/04/watch-salis-abdul-samed-s-first-interview/ Speaks very good English as you'd expect as English is the official language of Ghana "I'm on loan so for now my ambition is to get the team to the Premier League".
Another that speaks well and seems excited to be here, another nice nod to reggie looks like he’s more involved in the signings than first thought, good to see
Not sure. English is the official language of Australia and they tend to communicate in growls and farts over here.
Just seen Mason Greenwood has scored 5 in 3 over in France. What a ****ing waste of talent on a grubby little scrote.
Really good interview, enjoyed that. He looks like a character (and competitor) who will fit well with the squad.
