Couldn't ask for an easier game to bounce back. Let us have the ball by our penalty box and we'll attempt 50 passes between the CB's and keeper before giving it away.
Last time we were in the same division away fans were banned from travelling independently to either match and were all bussed from ground to ground. Assume they would do that again.
Yeah I reckon so. We've got big injuries at the back which is why we are shipping so many goals - when these come back we'll be a lot tighter. Shaughnessy is due back about now as is Mcintyre. Poole is getting there. The international break has come at a good time for us. Aforementioned can get fit and the new guys we've bought can bed in - we did decent business. Lowery also due back soon - our star striker is out mind you with a heart problem (Bishop). We've had a pretty decent start considering the fixture list and patchwork team: - Leeds away (3-3) - Luton home (0-0) - Boro away (2-2) - Sund home (1-3) 3 points from that lot for a newly promoted team. Decent.
Imagine it would be ****. Treated like one of the prisoners in Con Air for wanting to attend a football match. Logistically not awful if you live near the ground but an unnecessary faff if you don’t.
You mean terrible? I think it's disgraceful to deny fans the opportunity to travel to a match independently on the basis that some might act like ****s. Herded like cattle. Even worse for those who aren't local. A Saints fan living in Portsmouth would have to travel to Southampton to get a coach to Fratton and then get a coach back to Southampton to travel back to Portsmouth. I'd like to say I'd boycott it on principle but I know that I wouldn't really.
