Le Bris said that AA and Ba stayed in Sunderland in case a move materialised on deadline day. I see absolutely no problem that once it didn’t materialise, they just went over to France rather than down to Portsmouth.
Just think it shows lack of commitment to not even support your team even just in Sunderland. Straight away flew away

of course it’s not a massive deal like. They won’t get much look in this season

I don’t know what the norm is. Do we even know if Dan Neil travelled down as captain?
Not sure but I’d always be disappointed if he just jetted off on a flight somewhere and didn’t support at home

I’m probably being old fashioned or OTT not trying to have a proper moan

I get your point. I’m just relaxed about it considering both the club and them know they’re on the way out. If we had a home game then you’d expect them to watch but I can forgive them going away for a long trip south

I'm really trying not to get carried away but I'm struggling to see us finishing outside the top 2 this year... our squad depth is unreal and Regis seems like a fantastic manager (hands up, I was 100% wrong about him).

I think the biggest risk to that hope would be an injury to Cirkin. Even a Hume injury I think we could just about cover with O9 filling in at RB, but nobody in the squad (or the league) brings what Cirkin does to that left side.

Actually, if Huggins comes back as good as he was pre-injury then he could adequately replace Cirkin. Just have to hope Dennis stays fit until Huggins is back...

If we go same starting team as yesterday, then bench of:
Moore
Mepham
Neil
Sameh
Poveda
Isidor
Rusyn
Aleksic
Adil/Ba/Watson/Hjelde
Drooling at that mind, also really intrigued by adbullahi, might have to try and get over to some 23 games if he’s going to be involved there initially

Love the confidence and would agree we have great depth in most areas. I still fear our lack of depth at full back and think we’ll do really well to finish in top 6 still.

I’d like to think we can make it comfortable tho rather than fighting for top 6 to the last day.

I can’t see past Sheffield Utd going up automatically but I think the second place is up for grabs. Leeds are likely to be strongest over the season for me but we absolutely could be the team that do it.

Long old season tho, not even 10% in.

Look I don’t want to get carried away but I’ve booked Wembley hotels for the playoff final…

But seriously I look at this team, at this squad and can’t help but feel we are going for it!

We are all in this season as a team and as a fan base I reckon.

ps I have actually booked Wembley premier inn for the suspected playoff final weekend, I booked it last week…:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Ill try and watch the u21 game tomorrow but i know one of my mates is scouting the game so he normally drops me a message to say who stood out
Didn’t even realise we were playing tomorrow, good test for them
