It feels poetic that in their final season at Goodison, Everton finally get relegated.

With Leicester, so much will come down to the size of their points deduction.

We are the last away team at Goodison aren't we?

Gives us the chance to do something really funny.

Although they could easily relegate us there too.

I don't see Palace, or indeed Wolves, being in the relegation picture. However, I do imagine that fans of both clubs will be nervous right now, and really hoping that over the next five days their clubs are active in bringing in new players. They have both sold a couple of very big players.

Whether either club is able to do, or are hampered financially, I guess we'll find out by Friday night.

Just seen that Bompey - Newcastle game.

That is a demotion worthy officiating performance.

VAR ridiculous for the goal.

But that Joelinton clothesline is one of the reddest reds i've ever seen and right in front of the referee too.

Needs to be a retroactive ban for Joelinton

Just seen the Joelinton clothesline too and don’t understand how that isn’t a red!?! Agree that that should be a retrospective ban too.
The goal/handball wasn’t as obvious as the red should have been, but with replays and slow motion that VAR offers you can see it comes off the Newcastle shoulder. Part of me thinks neither were given because of the amount of moaning they did after the Schar red and the support they got from the media.

When you're already on a yellow card, don't be an idiot and prevent a quick FK from being taken. Especially in a totally non-dangerous area of the pitch.

That one really confused me because the ball was rolling when Veltman went to kick it. So it wouldn't have been a legally taken free kick anyway. But Rice did nudge the ball out of the way as it rolled towards him, so I understand why the second yellow was given.
