There's talk of an £11m bid for a player, bid accepted for Simic etc. and we didn't even get Mendy done after he pretty much begged to play for us. If he was our main target early in the summer, surely an extra £1m to seal the deal would have been worth it (or at least minimal risk) to get it done this week? It feels like we've moved for 7 or 8 forwards and failed to get a deal done on any of them.

Very disappointing on CF front assuming we don’t get a really late announcement but Wilson, with Mayenda and Rusyn having more experience and development is better than Hemir, Burstow, Rusyn and Mayenda last season just about.
 
I hoped they wouldn't let us down when we wanted Simms back.

i hoped last season when we signed 4 strikers they wouldn't let us down.

I hoped when we where told we would plod on till the end of the season they wouldn't let us down

I hoped when we sold Clarke they wouldn't let us down

Yet here I am feeling let down

Seems like the window is neither a definitive success or failure at this point but the next 12 months should prove it goes one way or the other.

As for now, we are top of the league and on course for a great season. As long as we are I'm not going to get too upset.

It won't go away quick. It should, but some people need to have someone to beat with a stick.

Not your fault lad, you take and offer up the info in good faith but with no promises, I'm happy with the lads coming in but it's been such a failure now for many windows to not bring in the right CF for the club, especially now RLB has come in and stamped a real identity with a high press, what an opportunity missed.

Wheeeey it's laughable man. Every single window we are let down up front. 20m pocketed tho
 
Another shambolic window cannon goes to stoke he will bang 20 goals in i bet for them, another defender signed blew another chance this season. We now know these owners are after money not premier league football and Speakman has to gan.

Same as Rusyn, Burstow, Mayenda, Hemir. Not even sure they scored 5 goals not 15.

It's an issue.

Speakman is a bluffer, well and truly that’s not your fault.

He’s not fit to be sporting director of Hartlepool never mind SAFC
