So he was the picture of health all time he was the owner of Hull City?Assem sold the club to Acun, that would be quite an achievement if he'd already been dead for a couple of years.
One of them will go on loan for a year somewhere with a recall option. We dont know if either were told this already. If Rushworth has a sale clause for us and we are getting someone of that quality in next year it will be excellent planning to have 3 top quality keepers lined up for 2025/26 and if not we will still have two very good keepers with a year under their belts at the club. Looks like we are planning for the future, something we have not done for a long time properly. There is no way we have brought in two keepers and then suddenly decided to bring in a third because we dont like the others. Tim clearly just feels one of them is not ready yet and we have been able to secure the best Keeper outside of the Premier League for ourselves to aid the promotion push.Cartwright is injured, TLT needs a loan to keep playing regularly. Pandur and Racioppi are the ones being hard done to

Frank Cannon - those of a certain vintage will remember him from 9pm on Saturday nights on BBC 1. Was around the same time as Kojak, Starsky & Hutch, etc.

Well his first touch seems decent from what I've seen, so that's already a step up from at least one of them. His all-round game is excellent. Is he any different to Burstow or Bedia? All seem to be the same profile of striker
Yes! But are you implying it didn’t happen?

Maybe, it would have been some achievement wouldn't it? AA was seriously ill during his last years with City, and I'll leave it at that......and go and get my coat.think you may need to read the posts again mate
Jeeze, can't remember BBC being all that busy on a Saturday Night.Frank Cannon - those of a certain vintage will remember him from 9pm on Saturday nights on BBC 1. Was around the same time as Kojak, Starsky & Hutch, etc.

Well, not exactly the same time!Especially after Pandur's very competent performance on Saturday he seemed more confident and assured making saves and dealing with crosses into the box hardly going to boost his confidence bringing another keeper in on loan at this stage.and if we get promoted the 2 we’ve recently signed won’t be good enough for the pl.
A: because they weren’t good enough for the championship
B: they haven’t played first team for nearly a year.
so a waste of a fees, a waste of wages, a waste of time.
signing another keeper makes no sense
That’s the point really. We shouldn’t be complaining about having too many, considering the situation, and the fact that it’s been explained (“an opportunity too good to pass up”). I’m pretty sure he’ll be an upgrade.
To answer your first question, maybe I’ve misinterpreted it as I’ve read the last few pages but that’s the feeling I’m getting when people are already questioning where players will fit in.
I agree with you, in that focusing on just where players fit into an 11 is just daft. We need squad depth 100%, perhaps more so with Walters frantic style (as we've been lead to believe).
I even agree that there nothing wrong with having 3 decent keepers on the books. Why not.
What I don't like is loaning a 3rd keeper with a clause that says we need to pay a hefty fee if he doesn't play.
However, TWT I'm in for the ride.
I suppose when you explain it like that...It did help enormously the promotion was during Covid Ern... took the pressure right off...
Well, not exactly the same time!
