The Stadium Advisory Group will be organised by the Council, but the main voice on this issue will be the Police who are on it. If, as OLM says, there’s been similar statements round the country it will probably be a national Police position getting parroted by local forces.
Glad I set off early for the match today. Stuck barriers at a level crossing playing havoc with the trains with loads of Brid/Scarborough trains cancelled. I was expecting to waste half an hour in Beverley but had to jump on the 9:37 train into Hull to make sure I can get there. Looks like a Maccies breakfast for me
Thanks for the heads-up....I'll be setting off 30 minutes earlier than planned to avoid Spring Bank West.....Fecking 12.30 kos....Doing my crust in.
**** infrastructure again.....This place is literally falling to bits...Seem to recall similar chaos v Mbro last season..
Recently Vern went on a cruise (I know) and Ant and Dec were also onboard, sadly the ship hit a reef and floundered, Vern went down with all hands on Dec. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Don’t think the police car. It is jobsworths on the SAG at some clubs, not all. Not surprised ours is one of them. Has any club actually suffered any of the sanctions mentioned for people standing?
Something has to be done with Sky.... Saturday morning s are for doing stuff with the kids (football) stuff the other half needs doing... normally, you get finished for around 12 and then start two get ready and head down to the ground... Re the kids playing football, some point kick off until 9.30... so by the time they've finished its 1045... drive back, shower, and youre lucky to get to the ground in time...
It will have come from the FA, or the Sports Ground Safety Authority, it’s not a criminal offence, it’s a civil matter, so not Police driven.
