seriously odd decision chucking ferdinand as soon as he was starting to play to his potential. of all the defenders anton's played with in his career, i reckon wes brown would have brought the best out of him...
 
Correct me if Iam wrong but wasnt he being discussed with a view to an England call up last week, due to his current form at QPR
 
Wow. What a great shout from Anton. shows that he really did take to life up here which makes his sale all the more embarassing. I didnt think Anton was the greatest but his 5 or 6 games prior to his sale he was arguably our best defender.

Fair play to the lad though.
 
Funny how I was very much in the minority when I was singing Anton's Praises before he left eh!

Having said that, it is nice to hear that he still cares.
 
Another example of how fickle fans have become, I remember well Ferdinand being written off by the majority of fans, half a dozen decent performances later and a friendly text and he is suddenly the one that got away. . . this is getting weird.
