Dont bloody tempt fate,...... but,....... we are almost certain we saw Steve MClaren loitering in the SAFC car park in front of the main entrance just before the Fulham game !! He was sat inside a silver Merc I think ....... Please God no, no, and yet again NOOoooooooooooooo !! :emoticon-0107-sweat

syd ban him for getting me excited and giving your lot a heart attack

3 ex England managers (OK they were all ****e) and you reckon Lee Clarke is better????

After what that spotty faced **** done to us, you expect us to open our arms and welcome him back????? **** right off mate.

at this moment in time yes i do they have failed everywhere since and some haven't worked for years because they failed that bad,i'm not going to convince you so i'll just say i'll agree to disagree.like i said the step up to prem is too soon for him IMO but he'll be a top Manager in a few years i did also say he wasn't your choice for what he did and i did say take the hatred away and judge but i guess the hatred is too strong.

I really dont see the hatred for McLaren, this doesnt mean i want him, but becoming a mag wtf. something I wrote earlier on another thread.

I must be the only one on here that thinks McLaren would do good job for us, he has been hounded by the media, and I still believe it was the FA`s fault for appointing him too soon, he just wasnt ready for the England job imho.

Boro, got them 14th, 11th, League Cup winners, Uefa last 16, beat Lazio, got knocked out by Sporting Lisbon, 7th, Uefa finalists.

England = a job too soon for me, should have had another 6 years in club management first.

FC Twente, won their first ever title with them in his second season

Wolfsburg, they sold players from under him, including Dzeko, bit like Bruce and Bent, but we stuck with Bruce, they sacked him

Forrest, he was promised funds before he took the job, he took the job and they were skint, so he left and waivered any compensation that was owed to him.

Yes, on the TV he sounds like a plank, but i do think he has something about him as a Manager and will come good again.

Do i want him, no not really, but i dont think it would be as disastrous as some on here are making out if we did get him.

voted for o neill, as i'd be chuffed with him and think it's nailed on.

that said, if i could have anyone it would be moyes, think he'd be perfect for us. can't see him leaving everton for us though...
