Brilliant performance well done the lads.

On our day we can match any team in the league however, we still need to improve the depth of the squad to challenge for top 6 (but then again loads of teams will be saying the same)A lot more hopeful for a play-off push after today. Very good right across the park
We’ll learn a lot next week against BurnleyOn our day we can match any team in the league however, we still need to improve the depth of the squad to challenge for top 6 (but then again loads of teams will be saying the same)
Did the same against Cardiff last week you can see the players really trust that the system works. Lose the ball wingers tuck right in and one midfielder Jobe this week drops deep alongside Neil Very difficult to break downMade a point of watching us defend in the second half and from the Roker End you could see the whole of the team moving from side to side to react to Sheff Wed moving the ball side to side. Not one player decided to break formation and they acted like a team. Was seriously interesting to watch
the silence was because most were in shock, I know I was.Couldn’t get to the game today but watched on Sky, brilliant from start to finish, 11 MOTM performances today, possibly not Paterson as he basically had nothing to do.
Fantastic that Mayenda got his brace, should boost his confidence massively.
Hard to pick out any one player really, but our 17 year old, (only just) what a player Rigg is now and he will only get better.
The crowd were great early on but possibly were overawed into silence by the performance of the lads?
A quick mention for the pitch, it looked fantastic and allowed our talent to perform at its best.
Also the new sound system, I could hear the March of the Knights here in Cornwall !

Honestly the early part of this season has me wondering if we’ve just been starved of high quality coaching for so much of my life as a MLF. The identity and structure is like nothing I can remember seeing. Very early days but miles ahead of the vibes-based tactics of Mowbray and whatever the hell Beale and Dodds were serving up.I've followed Sunderland since 81 and I've never seen us defend like that before. Yes we've defended tightly at times but this was different. You can see what RLB is doing in training

. That was close to perfection.

Is that an invitation ...Their fans seem a little disappointed on their forum
"Sunderland have been nowhere near as good as we were last Sunday but Sky are to$$ing themselves off. TBH Sunderland have been clinical nothing more. And you can put as many laughing emojis as you want to this post."
