He was excellent I heard, constant threat. Dunno why anyone needs to defend it, for three transfer windows in a row the club have been ****ing awful. If we don’t sign anyone decent by September, Brighton will finish above us.
Bit like Lewis hall eh? You’ve moaned like **** about this kid for a year and he was ****. And who kicked brererton-Diaz arse in the tunnel at half time? That’s right big Dan burn
My point being - you thought Lewis hall was a better fit than Dan burn - he wasn’t and still isn’t. Minteh who most have never seen a full 45 minutes of was subbed off just after half time yet everyone had a clown cry over him. Yet you “hear” he had a good game. you seem to “hear” an awful lot but not very much seems to come to fruition or is true. FWIW we were his awful. Hall and Tino were stinking bad, Gordon looked completely uninterested and the sit back and defend **** was as hard a watch as I’ve ever seen
I didn’t and wouldn’t have bought Hall for the problem left back position. He looked like a very good prospect, but I don’t know how many times I’ve said how ****ing terrible last summers window (including hall) was. This window has been the same, all the focus and energy is on 17 and 18 year olds. Howe seems to believe in his core that players like Longstaff, Schar, Hall, Burn, Almiron, Krafth, Murphy are getting us back to the UCL because they did once. His loyalty is his Achilles heel. But just to be clear, I’m regularly wrong, as much as anyone and happy to admit it. I write about things I know, things I think, things I hear, and pure guesswork. I’ve never said anything otherwise so don’t accept criticism when I never claim to be anything other than a bloke with an opinion.
Probably turn out to be a good player, I agree. Brighton buying him almost confirms it already tbh lol
So as things stand, we are 8th. BUT with a clever sponsorship deal , we can not only gain lots of reveneue but also climb up to 4th, thus sitting in CL qualification position. Simply sell the naming rights to become Arabian Newcastle United. Sorted.
They could be really dangerous if the manager can get them to be cohesive this season. But their signings are just so random. I've no idea what system they are aiming for.
Can't look at this game and make any comments about Chelsea considering who they're playing. If they get a result its incredible
The we're already a good team before this guy came in and they've bought more players. I see a side out there going toe to toe with the best side in the world. I fully anticipate them to compete at the top of the table this season.. Add Osimhen to this lot and that's going to ensure it imo.
