Know a lot of you dismiss our past players in the vain of "move on" but I for one like to read about how are ex players are doing. But if there is any outcry I wont be bothered if the mods delete the thread. But just in case they dont delete and others are in a similar vein to me then this from the Ipswich board: So many players played out of their skins. Walton in goal. Leif on Salah. Greaves is superb.
Didn’t see the game but Greaves and DeLap were the highest rated Ipswich players today. Still they’re dead to me.
A good mate of mine is a life long Ipswich fan and season ticket holder (sits just in front of Ed Sheeran so is often in media pics of Sheeran at a match) said that Greaves looks like the real deal, they are very happy with him.
Greg Olley suffered a horror tackle away at Woking. Broken leg, ambulance on pitch. Nasty game by all accounts
Can we talk about how awesome stephen quinn still is? Promoted with mansfield last season And already scored at league 1 this season at 38
Up there with Andy Dawson for me. One of the most consistent players we’ve had and never fully appreciated when he was here.
I saw the clip of it and whilst you can't make anything out directly, the reaction of his teammates is quite troubling.
Shocking tackle..... (Nothing graphic other than the teammates reaction in the clip below https://x.com/i/status/1824912613165195403
Some seem to want to go out of their way to bar him from our history but I thought if any place would allow for discussion of a past player trying to make it in management it would be a thread on our past players. I can't think of any others off the top of my head, unless we want to go back to McLaren? And Meyler with our U18s.
