I would like to have a closer look at that time Linton looked as though he stood on Bednarek’s leg. He managed to jump over him with his right foot but seemed to land on his leg with his left foot. I guess VAR checked it.

To stop anyone from holding their face ,but unfortunately it didn't work.
100% he went down to easily, but he did head butt him. Every single player on the pitch would have gone down after the slightest of headbutts. VAR checked it too, so it is not like we cheated.

Played really well so no complaints really. Desperately lack quality up top but we all knew that and such a disappointing goal to concede.

The St James atmosphere is without doubt the biggest myth in all of football. Awful.

Personally didn't like the play acting from Diaz and find it a bit pathetic really. Every team does it though so I won't lose any sleep over it.

Bye bye Roy first of many on ignore I'm sure.

I have never been on another club's forum since the start of forums. I am not interested in what opposition supporters think to be honest.

Yeah it's weird. They flooded her en masse after the League cup semi as well. Not content with a circle **** on their own forum they want to bring it here so we can watch it. Totally bizarre behaviour because I bet there's loads to do in Newcastle.

He didn't head butt him....you'll find I'm the type to hate on my own players when they cheat though.

Anyway like I said we've got 3 points so there's no point crying over spilt milk.

I actually think you guys were the best side when it was 11 vs 11.

The whole playing out from the back was pretty good apart from a couple of major brain farts from Macca. The team has got better at it I believe and with the right GK it shouldn't be such an issue as it was at the start of last season.

But this is the issue though, it doesn’t matter if we are better at it if we do give away a chance or 2 every game. We need to learn when not to do it, like at 45 mins against 10 men when there isn’t a pass on.

Im sure the club do the stats on it but I’m still far from convinced that the amount of chances/goals given away from doing it is less than what is created by doing it. Especially if you are a weaker team in the league
