Hey, here's a radical idea........... We dont have to buy from other premier league teams. There is a whole world of football teams that might have players that suit our needs. Just a thought.............

Mod, ban this ****ing dreamer, he's off his tits!

The fans seem to have moved onto wanting to sign failed players.

It’s ****ing madness, whatever we’re doing today. I’d love to know why.

Newcastle are doing the right thing imo... you don't just buy any old ****e...they're in a situation where because of ffp they cannot get things wrong and take risks.

Buy the right player or don't bother and save the money for another window.

It's very simple

The side really needs a couple of good signings to freshen things up. They looked very poor Yesterday even before the red.

The dressing room needs a lift.
This is actually very important. Teams tend to stagnate quite quickly when they're not constantly evolved/reinforced each season. It's probably partially the mental impact on existing players - perhaps it's a demotivating effect resulting from a perceived reduction in ambition.

It did and anyone saying otherwise are either dumb or blind.

We got away with one yesterday. The 4-3-3 in my opinion works only when we are going forward but then doesn’t work when we don’t have the ball.

Yeah they need to move on from this reliance on sub grade players. 3 years in, so I find it bewildering that they've still got certain players in the squad never mind the 11 week in week out for 90 minutes.

The group is desperate for some quality to come in and replace them.

They looked dreadful... they were being outplayed by a side than came up in the play offs. They will need to dramatically improve to finish top half never mind top 7.

The manager will delay the introduction of the likes of Tonali Guehi willock and any RW player than joins the club and the seasons hopes will be over.

a good win, but very worrying because apart from Joelinton, isak Burn and Pope they were all absolutely ****e. everything just looked dysfunctional.

All huff and puff mate which is great but that won't help much vs good sides.

No real control of the game. No pattern. 4/5 players looking distinctly average.

Before the red I was thinking we're in for a long season. We will see how things work out in the transfer window, but a cb isn't going to change the lack of mobility in midfield or improve the right hand side.... willock is required imo. He's the only mobile midfielder in the squad, so hope he's upto speed quickly.

They need some proper players and they'll just continue signing safe steady Eddie's.

It's got no fizz this squad.
