We're not yet in a position financially where we can **** up on a big money signing. Every signing has to work. Imagine signing a **** like this for big money.
The players, Bellingham, caicedo, Lavia, enzo, Tchoumeni and now Zubamendi! Personally not a huge fan of Guehi. Thought he was pretty average during Euros and made 2/3 big errors that could have been punished on another day. £30-£40m maybe not too bad if need a CB. But he’s pretty short, and for £60-£70m I want one of top CBs in Prem
I think everyone is baffled how Newcastle’s “scouting” team haven’t found better value than this. We’re clearly, obviously being rinsed. How do senior professionals like Howe, Mitchell, Nickson not see what’s so utterly bleeding obvious. And how do the same people plus Howes nephew and god knows who else not have a better idea than the next Harry Maguire (without the aerial threat)?? I think everyone is ****ing mystified at this point. Except, it would appear, the decision makers at the club. It’s like Liverpool v Spurs. Newcastle fans represent everyone in the ground, newcastles transfer team are on VAR.
Think there’s something odd with this one. Funny how it’s been reported everywhere “expected to turn it down” but haven’t heard anything concrete regarding the decision.
Sick to death of this saga, **** palace and move on. I don’t wish any harm on the player at all, but I’d have a nice warm feeling inside if he did his hamstring first game.
Rumours that were still in talks with Crystal Palace and are considering upping our offer yet again and spending even more money on the legendary Guehi.
I just don't get these official 'bids'. is it really like these ****ty holiday programmes on TV where the buying agent has to put in formal bid offer, that the selling client's agent then confirms has been either accepted or rejected by their client? Or can they not just actually disccuss it together (ideally face to face) to agree / negotiate a realistic price? Even if it is formal bid based process, via agents, those TV shows do what 3(?) rounds of 'bidding' in a matter of minutes to come to a.conclusion, not 3 or 4 weeks. Whole thing just seems a real ****show in football.
I'm not seeing any of this faith crap the cult like to ram into our arses am I? Chill out Newcastle will probably get the player.
Lucky you ... you've missed absolutely nothing. The toon fans have however become experts in player negotiations.
