Transfer Rumours New signings and rumours 24/25 season

Apparently Jamie Lindsay is having a medical today having agreed terms to sign for the Rovers, Lindsay is a midfielder who is leaving Rotherham on a free transfer he is known by Taylor who was his manager at Rotherham

 

Jamie Lindsay has signed a 3 year deal with an option of a further year

 

The club have given up on Luca Hoole signing a new contract and will now be looking for compensation as he is under 24 when and if he decides to sign for another club, he has not returned to training with the Rovers

After yesterday's performance Taylor says we need 2 Strikers

 

Luca Hoole looks set to sign for Shrewsbury.

 

According to Bristol Live Rovers have agreed a deal for Fleetwood Striker Promise Omochere, the deal in Excess of £500,000.00 beating the club record of £375,000.00 paid for Andy Tillson.

 

Promise Omochere has signed for Rovers for an undisclosed fee on a 3 year contract with the option of a 4th year

Looks like we will sign Jake Garrett (age 21) on a season loan from Blackburn. He's a central/defensive midfielder. He was their young player of the season and played 28 times for Blackburn last season - 21 in the championship, scoring 4 and getting 2 assists.

 

We’ve signed left back Lino Sousa from Aston Villa on a season- long loan - he sounds like a decent prospect.

but if Chris is either unfit or suspended we don't appear to want to sign anyone else to replace him

 

Promise will lead the line and his back up is Martin. I too want another striker but can't see it with the money spent on Promise and the wages we're paying for Martin. If anything, we'll probably get a youth player from the championship to cover both Promise and Martin.

 

Rovers have signed 19 year old Gatlin O'Donkrer from Oxford on loan. He spent the 2nd half of last season at Barnet in the national league where he scored 5 goals

 

Jevani Brown has joined Notts County on loan until the end of the season

 

Rovers have signed Shaq Forde a 20year old striker from Watford on a 3 year deal with an option of a further year, fee undisclosed

 

Last year of his contract too so probably played his last game for us.

 

Forde, Promise and Sotiriou being our main strikers with the young Oxford lad on loan until Martin is back.
