Was anybody realistically expecting the Hughes announcement today? SM said the bid was accepted yesterday and he'd have to go down to London for his medical, then come back up here to do all press stuff. We always seem to be slow to announce as well

I suspect in the system that Tim plays he may not be mobile enough now, Shame because on his day he is still one of the best midfielders in the league.
He's too expensive to be a bit part player for us. We can probably sign 2/3 players for what he'll be on. We might even see a fee for him if he's goes to Saudi.
Expect he'll be off to Saudi but their window shuts after ours so we'll prioritise incomings first. Ain't got the legs for Walters style, slows play down and he's in his final year, meaning he leaves for nowt in summer.
