Since meowth has gone crisp and revel crazy I thought I'd get in on the act, seeing as there's nothing newsworthy happening at Fratton Park these days <whistle>

If the sweet tin was offered to you, which item would you choose if the selection within was as follows?

    Wagon Wheel

  2. Dev, forgive me for going beyond the remit here, but I would like to opt for jelly tots. Yum in my tum.

I must say things are rather flat at Fratton Park these days. And on top of that I am bored of Saints being top of the league. I think I shall cheer myself up with a packet of jelly tots <whistle>

Is it true that wagon wheels are smaller than they used to be, or is it just that we are bigger?

I once ate a wagon wheel straight off the production line (in Blackpool at that time I think). It hadn't even been in a wrapper and was still warm. Mmmmmmmmm for that reason, Wagon wheel's are not the same anymore.

Just to keep the subject off Portsmouth FC for a tad longer... [Sorry Pepys, couldn't resist]

Curly-Wurly's could be in everyone's top ten of chocolate bars. So, give people a limited choice and they'll go for them. Must admit, although I wouldn't automatically reach for one, that's the best of the bunch, for me. Maybe a Sherbet Fountain too..?

wagon wheel for me, but the older bigger versions.

sherbert dabs have been ruined as the liquorice straw is now solid, and prevents you biting off the ends and playing sherbert roulette - you suck up enough sherbert for it to bibble in your mouth, but not enough to make it go up your nose and make you sneeze.

theSecondStain - i agree, when people meddle with liquorice straws you know the world has gone to pot. Its not the same dipping a solid straw into the sherbert! It gets wet and goes solid. Bring back hollow straws i say - bloody Thatcher. I bet you see her ordering it in the new Meryl Streep film "The Iron lady"
