Angel Di Maria's wife: "I begged Angel, any place but England. And one year later we were in Manchester. A **** hole".
Sorry, but Manchester is one of the nicest cities I’ve been in!
Living here is 100 times better than numerous places in the North of England, so she’s SO ****ing wrong!:emoticon-0121-angry

Be interesting to see what Baz says regarding the fee, he's consistently said fees are lower than what is being widely reported all summer. I just can't see us paying £7m for a league one CB, no matter how good he is

They'll play the max potential value card, we'll (or the buying club) play the minimum upfront card.

It'll be another one of those 'undisclosed' charades.

But ultimately we've (hopefully) done what we've set out to. Agreed on a fee that they're reluctant to accept, but they have

Fingers crossed.

Hi Chillo (Nice moniker)

My post was intended to be a bit of a giggle. I know this is just an informal forum and we shouldn’t get too serious about posts. I don’t know you and don’t know if you are interested in facts or not – and I didn’t pick up on any humour either.

Humour aside, chemistry is chemistry – a science. Not politics when people seem to be able to say any old **** and swear blind it’s true.

You mention the periodic table and ‘CaK’ sic (Ca and K). So you have some awareness of Chemistry – and for the basic level we are on and to keep you on correct side of Chemistry truth – the internet is there for you.

Calcium and Potassium are ELEMENTS – that’s why they are in the periodic table where all the elements are tabulated. If they are combined with other elements – they become compounds some compounds are sometimes referred to as minerals

Compounds e.g.

Calcium: arsenide, ascorbate, borate, nitrate, silicate, titanate, etc…

Some of the syllables above are available for you to use to create a new moniker, or combined in compound fashion with your current one. I’m happy to help with moniker suggestions if you are still struggling with the compound principle. : )

hahahaha what a Potassium Nitrogen Oxygen Boron head!!! innit fooking ace when someone thinks they are being clever but are just full of minerals?

copied and pasted from internet land obviously somewhere where they cant spell sulphur.

The major minerals, which are used and stored in large quantities in the body, are calcium, chloride, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, and sulfur. The trace minerals are just as vital to our health as the major minerals, but we don't need large amounts.

i did A level chemistry and i know doctors and architects. and i apologise profusely if my Ca( c)k went untittered.

well that’s some positive news I guess, he is still here.
Is he all signed up? He must feel elated, been linked to **** holes like Madrid & Manchester & he wins the jackpot & gets a dream move to the east coast riveria. Jammy sod!!!
It just wasn't an accurate tweet as he didn't mention us.
Yes he saids words to this effect. "we have accepted a bid for hiim and I expect him to travel there tomorrow and sign for that club"
No word who that club was. No reason it wont be us.

Yeah when he's saying 'that club' it means us and he's annoyed at us. If it was someone other than us I reckon he'd be pretty happy to name them to rub our noses in it.

I thought that too. They really didn't like how Tan talked about it publicly. I didn't think he said all that much though

I read their board and there's a few of them that are a little bitter saying he should be going to a Leeds/Sheff Utd/Burnley but you can easily find yourself on the bench at the 'bigger' clubs. Luke McNally, is a very decent defender at this level and he's only played 3 times for Burnley and found himself out on loan twice. And 4 players that played for us last season have been sold this summer for circa £80m, so we clearly have some know-how in developing players.

Very weird, I'd have thought Acun's comments were much worse. Didn't Acun say something along the lines of "We've paid the fee, the player wants to come, it's up to Wigan now"? That seems much worse than Tan.

It did not come across to me like that he did not say THAT club with the emphasis on the That. He just said matter of factly "that he will travel to that club and sign for them" having previous saying that we have accepted a bid for him

It is difficult to make out what Acun's saying a lot of the time though.

So why not name the club?
