Why do clubs put a statement out like that? They've either sacked him or he's decided he's had enough and told them to stick the job. More likely the former

That's absolutely bizarre. Clearly some behind the scenes issues, maybe Lowe kicking off at not getting the funding to build the squad this summer.

I don't think Preston fans will be too disappointed but it's not a good sign imo. This might be the year that they stop over performing and struggle.

Let’s hope that struggle carries on tomorrow

For years now I’ve had a bit of a soft spot for PNE based on absolutely nothing. If I was pushed I’d say it’s because they’re one of the old teams who once were good and on a sentimental level I’d like to see them in the top league.

Can’t see them being in the PL any time soon, if at all.

This is totally at odds to what normally happens to us; A team will have been managerless for weeks and struggling in every match then suddenly, out of the blue, sign someone days before we play them and get a new manager bounce!

We are obviously going to win promotion from the Championship, win the FA Cup, win the League Cup and play in Europe next season.

Heckingbottom confirmed there

They’ve had a poor start to the season but I think he’ll keep them up.

We are now on the way to world domination, well 2nd Round of the League Cup, now it does escape me, who did we beat in the first round, oh now I remember. If he gets us above the bottom 3 that will do for me

Yeah you'd assume so. Mid table is probably achievable as PH will make them harder to beat

Would have been a different game completely if Ba puts away that header in the first half at 0-0 mind.

Rather win our league games anyways. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Good start for Heckingbottom

2 wins, 2 clean sheets and 6 goals scored

Oxford away up next
Good to see, well done H lad. Also, as you posted about Cleverley, who is doing well at Watford, some interesting clubs could be in the mix this season.
