I want to see Eddie Howe remonstrating with fans on the steps of St James’ Park after the shock sale of Isak.
Xmas or next summer I bet
For history to repeat itself you’d then buy Haaland for a world record fee.
That bit I can believe. And then win nothing for another 30 years

So good they've already lost a uefa case for cheating and are awaiting one for 115 prem charges.Been a busy week, so just catching up... Anyone surprised at a fee that could end up at £81m for Alvarez... what have you been watching? Anthony for £70m... Casemiro at 30 odd year old... Richarlison for £60m.... Maguire?!?!?
Alvarez is an excellent young player, proven goalscoring pedigree, WC winner. Got to be some kind of spastic to question that as a genuine fee / fair price (Mark Goldbridge kinda spastic).
People genuinely just crying as City are very good at running a football club.

Am i adding you to the pep. Cuckold kist or wha?
Im calm as.Calm down, Clucky ... those 115 charges will no doubt be heard in the year 2525 ... if man is still alive ...
Add me if you like mate, but none of that has any relevance to them buying Alvarez, him being very good and then selling him for a good profit. Anyone genuinely saying "this isn't fair. How can they do that?" just look silly. So good they've already lost a uefa case for cheating and are awaiting one for 115 prem charges.

So your excluding the lost case to uefa and tge 115 charges when saying they are a well run club.Add me if you like mate, but none of that has any relevance to them buying Alvarez, him being very good and then selling him for a good profit. All in, IF they get solidly rapped for the 115+ charges, then it's going to mean little. They've come in, and done what needed to be done to establish themselves at the top (broken rules to do it too, as a calculated risk) - and they'll stay at the top. They're a machine now. Fair play to them I say - the only rules they've fallen foul of are those designed to suppress them and keep the old guard at the top.
Sometimes wish we would stick two fingers up to some of this stuff too, but feel we're probably going to reap some benefits of City's battles and that will be big step.

Waiting for the cash coming in from selling Gordon.Newcastle flexing their huge financial muscles.![]()
