He'd be a great signing for you lot. Though he'd be mental to choose you over Leverkusen.

we are not even remotely interested. We have the best defence (fewest goals conceded) outside of the top four. Just signed a massive CB from the French farmers league and have a player United want so badly it hurts.

so why offer a deal to him with his injury record?

cover for what, him leaving. Wouldn’t that be a replacement. Another young, quick and commanding CB…..oh no.

He’s a very good player and good age so not surprised at that fee. Good business by City although I do think they’re weaker without him.

Great fee for City. Very good player but essentially been Haaland's backup more often than not.

Going to a side with a completely polar opposite style of play to City too, think he'll still be a good signing nonetheless but I reckon City will be able to sign a more than suitable replacement for the role he often had.

They’ve done well. Sold Jesus for about 50m. Bought Alvarez for 18m and selling him for about 80m.

They’ve got Bobb there already and that new guy from France they’ve paid about 30m for. They don’t actually need to go out and buy to replace Alvarez.
