I have had a big promotion and no idea how im going to cope at 7am tomorrow doing a presentation to all my big bosses. Anyway i watch this video often and cant honestly believe why tbis musical genius decided to kill himself. Adored by millions and one of the best artists ever. Mental health absolutely sucks and is so evil..
It's just nerves mate, and perfectly normal. You wouldn't have got the promotion if they weren't confident you could do it. Try and get some sleep, and go through your presentation in your head in the morning. you'll nail it mate, then wonder what you were worried about. Brilliant video that Tees, I watch it quite often myself. There's another, from the same show, where they do a really stripped down version of "Crawling"...just keyboard and vocals. Outstanding. Chester wrote some amazing lyrics, really poured out his troubles. Of all the rock stars that have gone, its this one saddens me the most, just so much to live for, and so young. Who cares if one more light goes out, well I do. Try and sleep, and take care mate.
It wouldn't be normal if you weren't feeling nervous in my head mate, good luck sure you will do well
Well it's morning now, Tees, and time for you to get up, so stop being a drama queen and show them why they promoted you . . . . good luck, marra
You'll be fine mate but remember that hardly anyone delivers a perfect presentation especially the first time in a new role so it won't be expected - be natural and any nerves or errors won't stand out.
Good luck today Tees, you can do it. Just imagine the big bosses sitting there bollock naked with their bellies on their knees and you are the only normal person in the room
Mate, you got the promotion because you deserved it,you have the skills to do the job. Always remember that when you're talking to anyone.....people higher up,or people lower down. You're there on merit and you have a contribution to make.
Turn your nerves into positive ones mate and believe in your own ability, like others have said you wouldn’t be put up for it if your company didn’t think you weren’t capable. good luck, you’ll smash it.
I don’t think I’ll ever not get nervous doing these things. All I’ll say is those bosses had the confidence in you in the first place. Run through the presentation a few times before hand and try to think of any questions they might have. Good luck mate !
Well it will probably be over by now, so I hope you’ve knocked them for six and you can start and breathe normal again
I've always had a silent chuckle whenever I've started a new job and someone's said, "We're all mad here but you'll soon get used to us." I just think nod and walk away whistling this
Just seen so you are already there , sending positives , although I really believe you”ll be managing fine
No matter what happens, it can’t go as bad as some of the presentations I gave, or sat through. Some people are natural for these things, the majority however just stumble through them. Let us know how it went.
